Detroit: Become Human
A new behind-the-scenes video for Detroit: Become Human has been released and it goes into all of the ways the team had to come up with the design for the futuristic Detroit
If you are into the art of games, and I mean that literally, then you will be glad to see the latest for Detroit: Become Human. In another behind-the-scenes video for the game that we have here, we get to see all of the designs and looks that Quantic Dream came up with to craft this not-too-distant version of a real-world location. Nothing that has never been done before, even with the specific city, but it is nice to see how the team progressed from where they started four years ago to what we will be seeing n Detroit: Become Human on May 25th when it hits the PS4. That is at least if you have not been drawn in to play and replay the current demo that is out there multiple times already. It did come out at a weird time for PlayStation owners, so it is okay if you have yet to experience it.
There does seem to be a bit of new in-game footage spliced in here but this is all about the art of Detroit: Become Human and not much more. We are here to see how the team came up with the designs and how they made them all flow into something different but could make us all believe that is where the world is going to go. Not the easiest of things to do as we can look at other franchises and see where the concept artist got it wrong. In Detroit, for instance, they are using more and more technology that has become transparent and less analog to use. In, say, Aliens, there were buttons and levers to pull everywhere and it was even further into the future. It is nice to see when things turn out to be just the way we would all expect them. It also adds to a level of immersion as we can truly see the world going down the path we see in the game.
