Immortality
A new interactive movie trilogy is on the way with Immortality the looks to take us through the life of a missing actress
The mind that brought us all Her Story is bringing us all a new trilogy to experience with the announcement for Immortality. Weirdly, the announcement we have here from Half Mermaid does not make it feel it is about what the title makes us all assume. That could be different when Immortality hits the Xbox Series X|S and PC this coming Summer, but we only have the following trailer to go off and the basic description too. Let us all dive into what we have for the game and see what we can take away from it all.
In Immortality, we will be scrubbing through three different movies that star Marissa Marcel. Marissa has disappeared and it is up to us to try to figure out what ended up happening and/or maybe find them. It looks as if there will be some zoom and enhance features in the game that will have us looking at these 60s and 70s films and how they link. If they link, that is. It is a bit odd to see how that could be in Immortality, but given the pedigree of the developers, I am certain that it will make sense and offer up one massive new story. Have a look and see what we have coming at us here soon.
Immortality — Reveal Date
Marissa Marcel was a film star. She made three movies. But none of the movies was ever released. And Marissa Marcel disappeared. An interactive trilogy from Sam Barlow, creator of Her Story.
Coming to Xbox Series S|X, Xbox Game Pass, and Steam. More platforms to be announced.
Do you think Immortality will be the next big hit for the team or will it be another smaller one that will have a cult following? How do you think the films will link together over the decades or will that be a red herring? Do you enjoy these kinds of games or are they truly only for a small sub-group of gamers out there? Tell us all what you are thinking about this down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all. More for Immortality should be on the way, so keep checking back in the site for all of that and much more.
