MADiSON
Psychological horror title MADiSON has been announced and with it, it looks like MADiSON will have us doing some dark and horrible things
The horrors keep coming, as we have an announcement for another title in the PC mix by the way of MADiSON. This would be a new psychological horror title coming out of the minds over at Nosebleed Games for us to partake in and it looks like it will be hitting many of the more recent notes that our horror games have been hitting. Things like walking alone in a dark house, having many different jump scares, and the inevitable creature in the darkness that will show up when we do not want it to. That is not to say that MADiSON does not look interesting, but it will be capturing some of the steps that we have seen in various other horror titles out there already. If the formula works, all we need to do is see if there are ways to improve upon it, right? That seems to be the industry motto.
All joking aside, MADiSON will have us placed in the role of Luca who happens to be trapped in this dark and ominous house that also happens to have a demon forcing Luca to continue and finish a gory ritual that was started a while back. Obviously, we do not want to do this and from there, Luca will need to take pictures, explore the area, and solve some puzzles all while trying to not have the holy hells scared out the backside and survive it all too. A rather tall order for MADiSON to give us, but it would not be a solid horror title if that was not the case. You can get a slight feel for how it will all look and feel just below. Just be sure to have those headphones ready and possibly a change of pants if you get scared that easily here.
MADiSON — Announcement
MADiSON is a first-person psychological horror game developed by Nosebleed Games.
What would you do if you woke up locked in a dark room, with your hands covered in blood? Play as Luca, and endure MADiSON, a demon that has forced him to continue a gory ritual started decades ago, making him commit terrible acts. In MADiSON, you’ll need to take pictures and develop them yourself, solve puzzles, explore your surroundings, and survive.
MADiSON will release on PC via Steam in 2021. It’s available to wishlist now.
How are you feeling about MADiSON based on what we have here to see and read thus far? Does it look like it is hitting all of the classics of horror right now or do you think that is just to get the name known before we see the game evolve the genre a bit more? Do you think we will soon move away from the horror walking simulation or is that still one of the better ways to get the terror to come across to the players out there? Give us all of those thoughts and then feel free to discuss them in the comments below. When there is more to share for MADiSON, we will certainly share it all here for you. All you need to do is keep a close eye on the site for all of that and everything else that could crop up around it all.
