Agents Of Mayhem Has Been Announced & Looks As Crazy As It Sounds

A new game, Agents Of Mayhem, has been announced from Volition and Agents Of Mayhem looks to take the Saints Row franchise in fun news directions

Rumors were floating abound that we would be seeing a new Saints Row title here soon and they were only mostly wrong as it looks like we have Agents Of Mayhem on the way instead. Of course the mostly wrong comes in as this is a whole new IP from Volition coming to us next year but it does have a bit of a foot in the overall Saints Row universe so there is that. None the less Agents Of Mayhem is coming out with Deep Silver publishing it for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC sometime in 2017. Rumors can be squashed now.

All of that said, what is Agents Of Mayhem here?

As it turns out it is a third-person shooter title where we take on the role of the agents or M.A.Y.H.E.M. (Multinational AgencY for Hunting Evil Masterminds) to bring down the evil of L.E.G.I.O.N. (League of Evil Gentlemen Intent on Obliterating Nations). During the game we will be able to swap between three of the agents at any time to help take all of this on in one massive destroy the world while saving it kind of adventure. That does seem to be the way all of this goes now doesn’t it? At least we have a bit of the game to see and a cinematic trailer to give us a true feeling of how the game will play.

Sadly this is all we get for Agents Of Mayhem for now as Deep Silver is holding the rest back for a grand showing at E3. That makes total sense but it does look like the game is going to play and feel like the franchise it is based in. At least a bit. Some over-the-top personalities and some insane evil all mixed up in a hilarious narrative that only they truly know how to do well. Hopefully the hype is real and this won’t be just another quick grab of attention. I highly doubt the latter though. At least hopefully…
