Alan Wake 2 Is No Longer The Myth We Thought It Would Be

Alan Wake 2

The announcement for Alan Wake 2 is finally here after so many years of thinking we would never see an Alan Wake sequel

The time has finally come and we officially have Alan Wake 2 on the way to us all. It was a title that we never thought we would get a full sequel to given how Remedy Entertainment has gone with their other titles and how they keep slipping this IP into the mix. Even if it is the way of some small hints or a full bit of DLC that highlights Alan Wake in general. I am looking at you Control. Now, though, we have the official announcement and teaser for this greatly wanted title. A title that will be coming in 2023 for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC when it does come. At least on the current timeline we are all on.

All we officially have here is that Alan Wake 2 is going to be coming to us and a new little trailer to look at here. A trailer that makes it feel like they could be going back to the roots of the game, but looks can be deceiving here. Especially since the team has indicated that we will be getting a true survival horror title for Alan Wake this time around instead of the action version we had before. I never thought the game was a full action title, but I guess it did have a bit more of that with the light and gun aiming we had to do to survive. I have a feeling we will see more of the light mechanics in this case instead of the run and gun that we had too. Hopefully we do not need to wait too long to see something for the core game.
