All Hope May Not Be Lost In Metro Exodus

All Hope May Not Be Lost In Metro Exodus

Metro Exodus

A new trailer for Metro Exodus shows how hope may not be lost in the game’s universe and also maybe the release date for Metro Exodus

During The Game Awards we had a nice new look at Metro Exodus and a bit more of how the game’s world has progressed from where we last left it and all of the horrors that laid within. Things have always been bleak in the world that 4A Games has brought to life in this FPS, but this latest trailer looks to give us all a little bit of hope. At least that seems to be the theme here in this trailer and whether or not that is true, we at least get a fun new look at Metro Exodus and just what is going on. Not to mention a few of the monstrosities that will be roaming about and causing us all of the hell we should expect in the game. Surprisingly none of the human element that we had to deal with before, but that could just be this trailer.

Have a look and see what you can for Metro Exodus. Keep a solid eye out there and take in all of the wonders the game engine has to offer us and the hard work that the artists have put in there. Also get ready for an epic looking train scene that we will most likely get to play out at some point. That is enough for me though as you should hop in and start enjoying what we have here.

Metro Exodus — The Aurora

The desperate survivors who cling to existence beneath the ruins of post-apocalyptic Moscow have long given up hope of life returning to the surface…

…except for one.

Metro Exodus is an epic, story-driven first-person shooter from 4A Games that blends deadly combat and stealth with exploration and survival horror in one of the most immersive game worlds ever created.

Flee the shattered ruins of dead Moscow and embark on an epic, continent-spanning journey across post-apocalyptic Russia in the greatest Metro adventure yet.

Explore the Russian wilderness in vast, non-linear levels and follow a thrilling story-line inspired by the novels of Dmitry Glukhovsky that spans an entire year through spring, summer, and autumn to the depths of nuclear winter.

Did you catch that? Something possibly is hidden in the trailer here? Did Deep Silver slip in a release date for Metro Exodus and pass it off as nothing? It is possible as it looks like we may have had a nice little slip in there during the end of the video. As Metro Exodus is still slated for Fall of 2018 it may have been nothing, but if you watch the video a bit closer you can see the date of August 8th show up. This has obviously led many to think that we have a release date now for the game which would be close to Fall 2018. It is not a confirmed thing as of yet and could have been something random, but it is there and could be something. Have a look at the screenshot of the portion in question and see for yourself.

Let us have your thoughts on all of this down in the comments and then discuss. For more on Metro Exodus as we get it, make sure to be right here.
