Alone In The Dark Takes Us Further Behind The Scenes With Jodie Comer & David Harbour

Alone In The Dark

See a bit more on how Alone In The Dark has been remade with the main actors we will be joining in Alone In The Dark

The backside of Alone In The Dark has been opened up one more time for us all to head into as we get to see how the two main stars of the game brought the characters to life. This would be David Harbour and Jodie Comer for those who have not been up on everything that Pieces Interactive has placed out there for the game. Now is the time to get caught up with Alone In The Dark landing on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC this coming March 20th. So, without further ado, let us dive right in and see what other fun bits we can pull about this game from the voices and likenesses being used.

Just as with many of the other behind-the-scenes videos, this does not add much in the way of gameplay for Alone In The Dark. Instead, it rather shows off the fun and personalities of the people making the game and the fun they had with it all. Even as both of the actors discuss how little they play games or are in the community of it all. That does not really mean much as they are still able to do the job well, but interesting to note when there are so many other voice actors out there who are intimately knowledgeable of it all. Now we just have to wait to see if both of these actors will show themselves playing Alone In The Dark to show off how they can bring it to life in their performances but would leave us wanting if we were just to watch them play.

Alone In The Dark — Behind The Scenes

Join Jodie Comer and David Harbour as they venture into the terrifying world of Alone In The Dark in this exclusive look behind the façade of Derceto Manor. Watch them talk about working on a video game and share their experiences of bringing their characters, Emily Hartwood and Edward Carnby, to life.

Alone In The Dark is coming to PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on March 20!

All of that sounds a bit harsh for Alone In The Dark, and that is not the point I was trying to make. I think it is a bit endearing that both of them lean into the fact that they are unskilled or do not enjoy the hobby as we all do, yet they have the excitement and passion to bring it to life. Just as any true artist should do out there. That is where I will leave all of that for Alone In The Dark, as there should be more focus on the craft and not on the personal lives and interests of those putting it all together. The job is still getting done and it looks like it will be well worth the effort of all involved when we do finally get to play it all.

Are you taken back by the fact that these actors are more likely to watch someone else play Alone In The Dark instead of themselves or does that feel about right with how the industry is? Does that even matter to you as long as the artist can give us an experience that we can all enjoy out there? Could this also be a case of using the celebrity to sell the game more than leaning into making a superior title to experience as we have seen with other games like this? Wander on into the comment section below to let the world know your thoughts on all of this and then discuss. When we have more to share for Alone In The Dark, we will have it all here. Please keep on coming back for all of that.
