An Errant Signal Is Bringing Something New With Observer: System Redux

Observer: System Redux

New gameplay for Observer: System Redux is here from TGS 2020 and shows off some of the new content coming to Observer when this version launches

It looks like we finally have more to look at for the upcoming Observer: System Redux besides just how the visuals and audio have been upgraded to work better on the PS5 and Xbox Series X. In fact, fresh out of the TGS 2020 it looks like Bloober Team is offering up a look at not one but two of the upcoming content expansions coming to the game as well. All of which will link into the core story for Observer and not just be something extra to bring us back in with little point of reference. Not usually the case when it comes to expansion or extra DLC in games, but it is starting to shape up nicely here for the November launch it will be having.

Before you dive into the video here, it looks like this will be some more of the darker aspects we have seen in Observer‘s past so take a bit of note before going in. Not that there is much of that to see in this new footage as it is being saved for us to actually play, but worth noting so you can be ready for it. Especially as both of these story threads we see here aim to go down the path of some kind of love in the cyberpunk world of the game. You can imagine where that all goes and what we will have to deal with yet again in Observer. That aside, this all does look like it is fitting in for the next-gen systems for a game that was released in the current-gen cycle. Something that cannot be said the same for many of the upcoming titles dropping in November. Have a look to see just what I am talking about though.

Observer: System Redux — New Quest Gameplay

New gameplay footage from Observer: System Redux reveals five minutes from the new quests “Errant Signal” and “Her Fearful Symmetry”. Observer: System Redux is set to release November 10 on PC and Xbox Series X, and November 12 for PlayStation 5

System Redux elevates the original Observer and its retro-future atmosphere with a full set of next-gen technologies. It brings a wide range of quality-of-life improvements, gameplay enhancements include new game mechanics, new secrets to find, redesigned stealth, additional neural interrogations, and three new missions featuring brand-new storylines.

Have you been holding out for some new content in Observer before now or will it all be a first-time shock when the game drops? Do you like the dark and extra grit we are seeing in this world or is there a limit for yourself here? Do you agree that this title fees more “next-gen” than many others that are coming out at launch? Give us all of those thoughts and feelings down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all. If there is more for Observer: System Redux, it will be on the site for you. Keep checking in for all of that and much more as we get closer to the launch of it all.
