Apes Are About To Launch The Offensive In Planet Of The Apes: Last Frontier

Planet Of The Apes: Last Frontier

The launch for Planet Of The Apes: Last Frontier is almost upon us and that means we have a new trailer for this Planet Of The Apes outing

November 21st marks the day that Planet Of The Apes: Last Frontier will be landing on the PS4 and there is still so much that we all do not know about this little narrative game here. We do know that it will be telling some of the story between Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes and War For The Planet Of The Apes; also that it will have four players involved in driving the story forward by making the choices that the Humans and the Apes need to make. Also that Imaginati Studios is all behind it here and trying something new for the whole genre and storytelling methods we have been used to for some time.

All of that said, we still do not know much more than that for Planet Of The Apes: Last Frontier, but given that it is a lower-priced title, $19.99 USD, does that truly matter if it brings the branching story that can have us all arguing over things in the end? Well, yes, yes it does matter. But hey, at least we have a new trailer just for the game’s launch next week that shows off some actual in-game footage. Not gameplay as the events unfold based on your choices and a few other things and we just do not get that here, but it is all in-engine so you can be impressed with all of that for now. It is part of the same team that made everything look so cool in the recent movies after all.

Planet Of The Apes: Last Frontier — Actual Game Footage

Featuring actual game footage. Available Nov 21, 2017, exclusively on PlayStation 4.

Planet Of The Apes: Last Frontier is a cinematic narrative adventure game of conquest, betrayal, and survival. When the fates of a tribe of apes and a band of human survivors intertwine, two worlds collide as their precarious existence hangs in the balance.

Players play both sides of the growing conflict, gaining a deep understanding of the motivations, hopes, and fears of humans and apes alike. The destinies rest entirely on the player as the game pushes towards a tense, fragile peace, or a final bloody battle.

Is Planet Of The Apes: Last Frontier one of those titles you have been secretly pining for or has it mostly slid right by since launch? Do you think that actual gameplay will be like that of the other PlayLink titles out there or will it be more like the Crowd Play titles out there? Is this all more of an interactive movie than an actual game in the end? Let us all know and then feel free to discuss. We will hopefully have more for Planet Of The Apes: Last Frontier in the coming week and when we do, you know it will be on the site. Stick around so you can see it all.
