Aragami 2 Is Taking Us All Back Into The Classics Again

Aragami 2

The classic mode for Aragami 2 is finally here to give us all that original Aragami feel again

Aragami 2 has been out there for a while now and we have seen various updates from Lince Works to better improve all of our experiences. An experience that has had some naysayers out there as it did shift things a bit from what the original Aragami offered up to the world. Thankfully, those issues should be going away after today with the new Classic Mode getting added into the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC versions of the game. Just as you might assume, it is bringing back the standard gameplay that won over so many to this IP when it first dropped.

This new and free update coming to Aragami 2 will be adding in the option to go back into that original mode from the first game. Combat will mean almost instant death, certain abilities have been removed to make traversal more of a planned thing, and once more the shadows will be our true friends. More or less, this feels like the true single player option that many fans of Aragami wanted from the start, but the team wanted to tell a story that included others along the way. Now we can have our cake and eat it too with both options being available on the fly in the game once all is updated. It might just be time for you to spin it all back up on your systems for one more hurrah.

Aragami 2 — Classic Mode Overview

Aragami 2 Classic Mode unlocks a completely new way to play, inspired by the mechanics that fans loved from the first game. The update will arrive on all platforms on March 17, 2022.

Aragami 2 now available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Is this the update you have been waiting for so you can play in the traditional Aragami way or will it be a good excuse to revisit it all again? Do you think having an instant kill if spotted would have been a better option or do you like being able to survive a hit or two so you can try to start again? Will the new traversal portions detour you from it all or will it be the perfect kind of spice to add to the game? Tell us all what you are thinking down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all. When more for Aragami 2 sneaks out there, we will share it all here. All you need to do is keep a close eye on the site for all of those updates.
