Assassin Twin Powers Activate In Latest Assassin’s Creed Syndicate Trailer

Assassin's Creed Syndicate

A new Assassin’s Creed Syndicate trailer has debuted at Gamescom and it shows off the two assassin twins and their differences at their finest

Just in case we had no clue about the differences between the two playable assassins in Assassin’s Creed Syndicate we have yet another trailer to drive that home for us all. Also just so you know, not all twins are the exact same person and you should expect some differences between the two be them vast or minute. Also, not all are identical as is also the case here in Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. You would have to be a bit daft to think that Ubisoft would try to sell us all on two different characters who played and acted the same in the game but it’s a huge focus for Assassin’s Creed Syndicate so we’ll make sure the point is driven home so there will be no further confusion as we get closer to the October 23rd release date on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC for Assassin’s Creed Syndicate.

Driven home? Good. Let’s move on to the rest of what we have for Assassin’s Creed Syndicate.

As you may have noted above we have a new trailer for Assassin’s Creed Syndicate right out of Gamescom. It has a little extra bit of gameplay to be spied upon for the game mixed in but its main purpose is to show how Evie will play a largely stealthier game in Assassin’s Creed Syndicate than Jacob. Not that we can’t play both as an in-your-face murder bot or a sneaky and silent assassin in the game but the stories and missions between the two sound to be setting things up to drive the difference into us. In fact on the floor at Gamescom there is an Assassin’s Creed Syndicate demo that is a wholly stealth mission just for Evie so gamers out there can give that a go. For the rest of us we just have to see the following trailer and imagine what it will all be like.

Assassin’s Creed Syndicate — Twin Assassins

Why do you think Ubisoft chose the female character to be the stealthier one in Assassin’s Creed Syndicate? Of course we could go down the bad rabbit hole that waves the gender inequality flag all over the place but it could go both ways here. Like the fact that maybe Evie is just the smarter of the two and doesn’t want to risk life and limb for an easy kill in Assassin’s Creed Syndicate? Leading to the argument that males are dumb brutes who do nothing but smash and have no grace. All the fun ideas and concepts we could go with besides the team wanting to just go this way and give us a female character in Assassin’s Creed Syndicate when all is said and done. As long as we all know that the twins here are not the same and are doing things differently and that should be our focus. See what I did there?

Fun conjecture all aside, what did you think of the new trailer for Assassin’s Creed Syndicate? Does it keep looking like it will make up for the letdown that was Assassin’s Creed Unity or will it be on par? Did you know that twins are different before Assassin’s Creed Syndicate or is this what is driving it home? Let us know down in the comments and discuss. Unless you are a twin. Then make sure both of you comment. Just no triplets or octuplets. It’s not what Ubisoft has here at all.

Hopefully as we get closer to the release date of Assassin’s Creed Syndicate we’ll have more solid updates and new to deliver to you. You may want to make sure to keep checking back here for all things Assassin’s Creed Syndicate just to make sure you don’t miss out on any of those updates as we get ever closer to October 23rd.
