Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Breaks Down More Of The New Gameplay We Will Experience

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

More deeper dives into Assassin’s Creed Valhalla show us more of the new character and how it will evolve the Assassin’s Creed gameplay loop

We are now under a month from Assassin’s Creed Valhalla hitting us all and we all want more gameplay to look at. Given how vast the game is going to be, it is safe to assume that more gameplay will not spoil too much for us. That is at least the hope out of Ubisoft here as we have a whole lot of gameplay to look at as they go deeper into the new and old mechanics that are aimed at evolving Assassin’s Creed just a bit more for the better. That is the hope that it will be for the better as change can sometimes lead to some faults. But we will focus on the positive for now and have a look at just about what we can expect when November 10th rolls up on us.

Obviously, a lot of what we know for the Assassin’s Creed games will back in here. Also with a map that is comparable to that of Odyssey for us to explore. It does look like we will have a bit more going on with the settlement creation when it comes to this one over the past titles where we will be able to upgrade more of our cosmetics, weapons, and various other aspects of the game through this mechanic. I am just curious to see if we will have the ability to “game” the system as we did back in the days of Assassin’s Creed 2 where we could get unlimited wealth almost from the start by using the real-world clock. It did help out with the progression quite a bit for those with limited time out there.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla — Deep Dive

Learn everything you need to know about Assassin’s Creed Valhalla in the Deep Dive Trailer! Explore how to grow your settlement, customize your Viking, and even journey to new worlds as you expand your clan’s influence throughout England…and beyond.

If the crunchy stuff for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is not what you are going in for, then we have a whole lot more when it comes to the combat and a few other mechanics that fall around that. Below you can see a little over an hour’s worth of gameplay to have, with story spoilers, that goes into the various new combat mechanics we will get to employ. Some of which are further evolutions offered back in Origins and others feel truly new to the Assassin’s Creed franchise. Like the fact that we will be able to target limbs and weak points on our enemies to set them up for some other devastating attacks. Getting us one step closer to functioning how it would in a real-world setting. Including just being able to shove someone off a building instead of a long fight with them.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla — Gameplay Walkthrough

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is less than a month away from its November 10 release date, and while we all eagerly await, the Ubisoft News team has new gameplay to break down following an extensive hands-on session with the game. Game designer Jessica Maher joins the stream to shed some light on the settlement of Ravensthorpe, Valhalla’s new combat mechanics, the return of social stealth, and so much more.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla takes you to ninth-century England and puts you in the role of Eivor, a fearsome Viking raider. It’s out on November 10 for Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, PS4, PC (including UPLAY+), Stadia, and Luna, and is coming to PlayStation 5 on November 12.

Are you completely ready for the next chapter in the Assassin’s Creed saga or will this be where you are starting it off? Do you like being able to target things like knees to speed up some of the fights or would you rather just go in silent every time? Will you be able to pick up on all of the social cues in the dialog to spar perfectly fine with this new system? Let us all know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all as you see fit. If we have more for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, you know we will have it all here. Just be sure to keep checking it all out as we get closer to launch and then beyond.
