Assassin’s Creed Victory Has Ironically Been Announced?

Assassin's Creed Victory

It looks like the next Assassin’s Creed title has been kind of announced in the way of Assassin’s Creed Victory which takes place in Victorian London

Yes, I find it funny that we are hearing word of Assassin’s Creed Victory, at least in code-name form, with the recent blunders from Assassin’s Creed Unity and Assassin’s Creed Rogue here not too long ago. None the less it looks like we have a glimpse of the next annualized addition to the franchise in the way of Assassin’s Creed Victory. The name of course supposed linked to the fact that the next title will take place during 19th Century/Victorian London. At least this all comes from Kotaku and a recent play through they were granted access to.

According to what they’ve reported it looks like Assassin’s Creed Victory will be using the same version of the Anvil engine that was used for Unity, hopefully better bug tested before launch of course. On top of that it looks like Ubisoft Quebec also wants to try and push the franchise “forward” by adding in a few new features like combat on moving vehicles and the addition of a grappling hook that players can use to aid assassinations and moving about the world of London. Honestly it sounds like Ubisoft wants to just have a Batman title instead…

All of this was reportedly from seeing a seven-minute “target gameplay footage” video that we can hope to see sometime soon. Then maybe the rest of us can see all of the new features and the side quests that sound to range from gambling in a pub to crazy street racing with carriages. I’m sure there is a lot more but we will all have to wait until Ubisoft decides to announce Assassin’s Creed Victory officially for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Could be this weekend. Could have to wait until E3. Who knows? But there you have it.
