The list of free video games hitting the PlayStation systems in April has been released, and there are some great #videogames included in the mix
A new month is almost upon us here with April, and that means new video games that we are going to get for free. Well, you will get video games for free if you are part of the #PlayStationPlus service. If you are, then you may be in for a treat as the list of titles going live starting next month is here, and we have it for you. Again, we get to expand our titles on the PS4 and #PS5 without needing to make any extra purchases at our local stores. Let us have a look at what will be coming as part of the lowest tier of the service that gamers out there can pick up.

The launch of South Of Midnight on the PS5 & Switch 2 has made it, and you can now play #SouthOfMidnight on them all
Given the day that it is, it would be understandable to think that South Of Midnight might not be launching on the #PS5 and #Switch2, given that it was an #XboxSeriesX|S and #PC exclusive. I assure you, though, that is no longer the case, as Compulsion Games has launched the game out there on the new systems for all to enjoy. It might have taken a while, but South Of Midnight made it there. Not to mention, the official release date for the game was March 31st on these platforms. We just did not want anyone to think it was a weird long con to get gamers excited, only to bring them down as is always the case on April Fool’s Day. The launch is here, and you can have another look at the game before diving into it all now.

Slip into another realm with Subliminal, with the PC launch for #Subliminal happening as you read this
It is always interesting to see when things slip out through the cracks, and it seems as if Subliminal has launched out there on the #PC with very little buildup. That could be on us for missing things in the insanity of releases, but it does also feel as if the developer was just ready to drop this title. No matter the case, get ready to slip into another liminal space with the launch of Subliminal. A title that is taking us into the idea of The Backrooms, but with a little more color and bouncy houses to play around in. Well, at least with the first episode of the game, as that is what seems to have launched out there as of now. Not that we all expected this to be an episodic release in the wild.

A new behind-the-scenes video for Directive 8020 is out there, to highlight the world we will be exploring and collectibles in #Directive8020
It is time to join the crew over at Supermassive Games again for Directive 8020, as they dive further into the crew we are going to experience some horrors with. Although this time, it is more about the corporation that has sent us all on this quest and the planet that we will find ourselves landing on in the game. All of that, and finally a better look at how Directive 8020 is going to link back to the core of #TheDarkPictures with the collectibles that will have us locked into our #PS5, #XboxSeriesX|S, or #PC when May 12th comes around. All manner of fun with the game is on the way, and we get a little peek at it in the following video that is out there.

The final fighter for Invincible VS is here, along with the announcement that two more will be coming to #InvincibleVS later
It has been a bit of a time coming, but here we go with the final character on the launch roster for #Invincible VS. Now the full eighteen fighters have been listed, and Quarter Up and Skybound have opted to give us another Viltrumite character to fight with. That is, Conquest, the main antagonist in the later seasons of Invincible, has flown in to make things difficult for the cast of fighters. Leading to yet another of the god-like characters in the fight against many other characters who could never hold their own in a single-combat fight against them. Neat… Which means that a third of the characters in the game are of the same ability, more or less. Let us see how Conquest will be a little different, as well as the first two characters announced as DLC, to maybe flesh the game out just a bit more.

A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of #videogames on the site this week
We did it! We made it to the end of another week, and most of a month, when it comes to life and all of the video games coming out. We all need to claim that achievement or trophy out there. Even if the news of #HTRDeathwish being a thing, or the multiplayer showcase for #HalloweenTVG was not a thing to claim in the first case. I mean, we even got out two reviews this week for #Order13 and #IHateThisPlace, so it was a wild week. Even if some of the powers that be did not like the fact that we are covering and sharing everything we are for all of these video games. I am looking at you, unnamed social network that has only one letter now. But we are not focusing on the negatives out there.

The full version of Dispatch is now on the way to the Xbox systems to bring more into the fold with the fun of #Dispatch
Talk about a weird release cycle that AdHoc Studio has had for Dispatch up to now. Back in October, it kicked things off on the #PS5 and #PC, and came to an end in November. Then in January, the game made its jump over to the Switch and #Switch2. Thankfully, that was in one full bundle and not the weekly releases. Now, it looks like the #XboxSeriesX|S will have its run at the game this Summer, as Dispatch is finally coming over to the platform. There is still no specific release date beyond the vagueness of Summer 2026, but just know that it is coming there and to the Xbox Cloud system, so it can be played anywhere once you have it on the system. I just wish we knew why it had to be staggered out so much, given that this is a story game and easy to have spoiled in this world.
