The release date for Final Fantasy VII Revelation is now set, and we get to see how classic #FinalFantasy is coming back to this IP
It feels as if we just had a little tease for when we could expect to see #FF7R pull into the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC, and now we are back to having an official release date for the game. Square Enix does not seem to be messing around when it comes to this one, even if the Collector’s Edition sold out faster than anyone expected. That is a different topic, as the big one is that we will all see #FinalFantasyVII Revelation landing out there on April 8th of 2027. That is still a good chunk of time away from some of the other big titles out there, but not too far away that we will need to suffer too much. I am just glad to see it all set in motion as of now.

A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of #videogames on the site this week
Well, this happened to be one massive week for all of those video games out there. Even as we came on the tail end of #gamescom wrapping up, and gearing up for the big releases on the way to us in the coming weeks. #HalloweenTVG certainly went extremely hard to get ready for the launch, then we had a bunch from the #ResidentEvilMovie, #UntilDawn2, and #Warlock to keep the hype going. That is also ignoring the fact that we had the surprise of #Maneater2 getting announced, along with various other big video games getting more out there. We also did not have a chance to get to everything that came out this week as well, so saying it was massive is an understatement to say the least.

The release window for SPINE is now set down, and we will be able to play with this new #SPINE next summer
It feels like SPINE lands in the zeitgeist and then falls off so often, but that does not mean the game is still not coming. In fact, during #gamescom, we had a small announcement pop up from Nekki in the middle of it all, so it could bring out more for the game. Not just in the way of a new video to look at, which we have below, but also in the way of when we can expect the Gun Fu title to hit the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC. It is not any time truly soon, but still something to mark down and get further excited for SPINE out there. As long as you can hold out to attach this game to yourself in the Summer of 2027. That is the current release window after all of this time, so let us all start to get further excited.

A new look at the progression in Halloween: The Game is here, just before we launch into the matches of death this #Halloween
It is the season as of now, and we all need to get ready for #HalloweenTVG to launch on the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC this coming September 8th. Just in time to miss the holiday weekend, unless you shelled out for the early access version of the game from IllFonic and Gun Interactive out there. Then, the launch would be today, September 4th, so you can get your slaying on. So, it is technically also the launch day right now. So much is going on, and we have yet to get close to the actual Halloween out there. I will gladly take it, run with it, and slice up so many civilians with it. All to perfectly progress through the game. Which, oddly enough, is one of the last updates we have for the game to show off how you will be able to upgrade and dress up the various aspects of the world.

The next entry to the Maneater IP is on the way, with the recent reveal we just had for #Maneater2
Just when you thought a fun IP was going to be a one-off with a few bits of DLC, we have the official announcement that #Maneater 2 is swimming its way out there to the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC. This would be that amazing little shaRkPG title that Tripwire Interactive gave us all a few years back, and now with the help of Demiurge Studios, we are getting another full entry into the IP. All of the fun that we had in Maneater the first time around swimming as a shark, eating various tourists, doing a bit of parkour, and then fighting so many other things in the sea will be on display again. This time, though, it looks as if our little bull shark will have found their way into a whole different land and with a whole different goal to keep. Not that devouring various humans in the world and causing all manner of chaos was not fun already. This is a true sequel, though, and it does look as if we are going to have to go insanely hard on it all to keep the reality show going for just a little bit longer.
