Silent Hill: Townfall Takes Us Home With Some New Compositions

Silent Hill: Townfall Takes Us Home With Some New Compositions

Hear the music coming to Silent Hill: Townfall with a little look around the lands we will walk in this #SilentHill title

If there is one IP that is well-known for its score and haunting music, it is this one, and that means that #SilentHillTownfall has a lot to live up to. I cannot think of many gamers out there who would not know the game based on one or two of the songs played in it. That is why, I am sure, that Screen Burn and Konami reached out to Pilotpriest to help compose the music for the game and take us all back into the world of Silent Hill. Even if this one does seem to take place away from the original town we all wandered in. Something that is further highlighted as we have the new song called “Home” to hear, and a look at the areas in St. Amelia that we are going to need to navigate the fog to get through.

This Week In Video Games 3/30/26 — 4/3/26

A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of #videogames on the site this week

So many fun announcements and reveals this week for all of the video games have hit us hard, and we need to have a weekend to enjoy it all. Nothing too harsh happened as that sounds, but we had so many more things on both ends of the spectrum hit us. Like the final character for #InvincibleVS flying in, a new version of #Darksiders is on the way, and the launches of #SouthOfMidnight and #TheOccultist are launching out there. Along with many other video games and films getting some highlights in the mix. A solid week and one that we can easily place our hat upon and take a nice break until the next one.

The first major expansion to the game that GSC Game World is dropping out there this Summer. Just as we have come to expect in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 up to now. So, get ready to see what it costs to be free out there in the wastes, while also getting ready to see all of the new horrors and areas that the game will have to offer up. The Sounds Of Madness Get Increasingly Haunting In Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss

The Sounds Of Madness Get Increasingly Haunting In Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss

Hear how the score and music in Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss were crafted and how it is going to bring #Cthulhu further into our world

It is time to dive deeper into the world of Cthulhu: #TheCosmicAbyss, and now we are getting a bit of a taste of the music, score, and other audio that will bring the game to life. Something that Big Bad Wolf is trying to make extra haunting when we hear it, but also something that can help things stand on their own for us all. Not just in making the game better, but in ways that we will hear something and know it is linked to Cthulhu in the game. All while making the game feel like it is taking place in the timeline that it is, and not just another creepy score that many other titles in this mythos have gone with. A delicate balance we can sample now with the latest developer diary, or just wait to experience on April 16th when it all hits the #PS5, #XboxSeriesX|S, and #PC. Either way, it is going to offer up a bit more of the cosmic horrors that many struggle to understand today.

Fly Through How The Gameplay Has Evolved For The Coming Control Resonant

Fly Through How The Gameplay Has Evolved For The Coming Control Resonant

Go behind the scenes to see how the gameplay of Control has evolved a bit more to where #ControlResonant is going to take us

The next developer diary for #Control Resonant is here, and it aims to show us how the game has evolved what worked in the previous game and for the IP in general. A nice little look at how things have shifted at Remedy for it all, while making sure that it just does not feel like we are going to be playing the same game, just with a different character. I mean, for starters, this one is taking us outside of the Oldest House and into the real world, going with a melee combat option over the firearms of Control, along with taking the bigger and mysterious threat from the first game and making it the main antagonist. Those are the basics, and now we get to see how that came to be and how the team is going to handle the challenges that are going to be imposed on the game. #PS5 #XboxSeriesX #PC

The Occultist Is Launching On The Scene In A Cinematic Way

The Occultist Is Launching On The Scene In A Cinematic Way

The launch for The Occultist is almost here, and we have a bit of a cinematic to show why we need to join #TheOccultist

Things are starting to get spooky out there at the Godstone, and that is why The Occultist is launching on the case. Well, more that he will be on the case on April 8th when the game officially launches on the #PS5, #XboxSeriesX|S, and #PC. That does not stop DALOAR and Daedalic Entertainment from putting together a nice little launch trailer for us to see beforehand. It is quite a bit beforehand, but still something to get us excited for The Occultist. Especially as this new cinematic trailer is highlighting more of the main voice actor, we are going to be hearing a lot of. That voice being the one of Doug Cockle, the same one that brought Geralt to life before.
