It is the season for us all to have some extra Halloween fun, with a massive update here for The Mound: Omen Of Cthulhu. An update that is out there for all who own the game on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC right now, and not something that ACE Team and Nacon are going to try to slip in some extra costs for. Those, I am sure, will be coming down the line, but for the spooky announcement here, it is all free. Not too shabby, and it will keep many of us gamers locked into the Cthulhu mythology longer, as well as give us a reason to stay inside instead of partying out in the streets. Maybe we can all do both, since this one does not seem to add enough to warrant losing an entire day, but a solid few hours to keep you all locked in.

Now that we know it is here for The Mound: Omen Of Cthulhu, what exactly does this major update offer up to us all? Well, we are getting a new map to explore and survive, along with a new diety that will be trying to end us. We will have a few new weapons and occult items that we can use to help us survive all of this, along with some new Treasure Shrines that should offer up some extras as well. All of that, and the level cap for The Mound: Omen Of Cthulhu has been raised to seventy, and we will have to watch out for some new sanity effects to pop off. That does sound like a major update that we have here, now that we have it all laid out there. Then you can hammer your way through all of this, and still have time to party it up for the spookiest of holidays that we have this weekend.
