See a new look at how Virtua Fighter will handle the new way of fighting in the upcoming #VirtuaFighter Crossroads
After having #VFCrossroads announced a little bit back, and seeing how things are going to be shifting when it comes to combat and story, it’s a good time to see how some of those scenarios are going to flow out there. Not to mention, with #EVO2026 going on out there, I’m sure we’ll have all manner of things to look at from RGG Studio and SEGA for the game. So, why not start out with how the Scenario Battles will flow in Virtua Fighter Crossroads? This would be the mode that shifts us away from the one-on-one fights and into something that will have us fighting from all directions when the game lands on us in 2027. Enough of the yapping, though, and let’s see how things have been elevated for the game and IP here.

A new narrative horror title, Impermanence, is on the way to us all, and we have a slight look at #Impermanence in the announcement
Grief can quickly do a number on someone who isn’t able to handle it, and that seems to be the story going down in Impermanence. Not with anything that is going on behind-the-scenes with Bad Choices Loud Noises or Duckosaurus Games, hopefully, but mainly with the protagonist in the upcoming horror title for the #PC. All to give us a dark and grim look at how grief, refusing to let go, and obsession can shape the world we live in. In the case of Impermanence, it looks to be much more than just the perceived world of the person suffering from it. That all said, let’s have a look at what has been announced and how it could be helping the rest of us look at this darkness in a completely different way.

A new horror title, Dark Stream, has finally been fully revealed, and we can see what will be streaming within #DarkStream
Look out, as there’s a new streamer on the way to the horror space with Dark Stream. A new game that will place you in the role of a streamer trying to keep your viewers happy and to get back into the good graces of the #PC gaming community. That is the goal of the game that RedDeer.Games and Skystone Games has in the story of this horror title, but there’s something even darker going on behind the scenes. Which is where the psychological horror aspect of Dark Stream will kick in as we go through the motions of exploring a haunted house. If all of that has caught your attention, then kick back and get ready to experience the full reveal of the game that should be keeping us out of the heat this year. That’s at least the aim of things as it all seems.

Character guides for Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls are coming out there, with Captain America the first fighter of #MarvelTokon: Fighting Souls
With the launch of Marvel Tōkon: #FightingSouls only a little over a month out, August 6th, it feels as if now is the right time to get deeper dives into each of the fighters that are coming. I don’t just feel that way, as it seems that Arc System Works also feels the same way. All as a way to say that we are kicking off the character guides for Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls so we can be mostly ready for the fights when the game lands on the #PS5 and #PC. Who better to start all of this off than the living legend himself, Captain America? So, get ready to see what he is bringing to the fight, and how we are all going to be pulling off the various combos and special attacks as the fights play out.

We need to start building up all of our power now, as Fable will be releasing on February 23rd, 2027, on the #PS5, #XboxSeriesX|S, and #PC. A solid little timeline to have from Playground Games to set for us. Along with there being many new ways to pre-order Fable before then to make sure we are fully ready for the launch. Then again, that’s not always the best way to get us all geared up and ready to be the new heroes of the lands. We need some new gameplay to look at to make sure it is going to be something we are actually going to want to do. That’s where the next big update that we have for the game is going to kick in. Not to mention help us to better understand what is coming in the collector’s edition of the game when it is ready.

See some new gameplay for Cordura out there, and see just how our Contractor team might confuse us all in #Cordura
It is time to get ready to clean up some otherworldly messes out there, with the new gameplay that we have for Cordura. The upcoming co-op horror title that Garage51 has in the works for the #PS5 and #PC, where we’ll be heading into a Victorian mansion to retrieve some roses and clear out what we can before we’re sealed inside. A rather basic-sounding loop, until you realize that Cordura will not only have a procedurally generated maze of hallways, but the things inside the building can mimic our co-op partners to make things even more terrifying. You might never know who’s truly on your side, but that is a little bit of the point when it comes to this one, so let’s have a look at how it will all flow in practice.
