A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of #videogames on the site this week
We can finally mark yet another week down as done, and we certainly had a lot to show off in the realm of video games. I mean, we did have a full play-through for #Directive8020 to share, along with the #review. Then toss in a bit of an update to #007FirstLight and #TheSinkingCity2 to keep us all rolling in the video games a bit longer. Not to mention to draw you all in for more of the indie titles and the announcement for #Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2. None of this was a dull moment over here, and now we all get to move into a bit of relaxation, and looking forward to the next week to take it all. The fun just never stops around here.

It’s time to meet another character from 007 First Light, as we get to see Mr. Greenway out in action for #007FirstLight
We’re just under a few weeks now until 007 First Light lands on the #PS5, #XboxSeriesX|S, and #PC, so it feels about right that we’re going to be getting more the character introductions before May 27th. Not that we haven’t met many of them already from IO Interactive in the past videos, but there has to be some extra hype out there to get us all ready to earn the number. That’s why we’re back with 007 First Light to meet John Greenway a bit more. This would be the character that the great Lennie James is bringing to life in the game, as well as help guide us all along the journey that James will be undertaking. Let’s get to know the character just a bit more with the latest bits out there.

A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of #videogames on the site this week
The time has passed right along, and we are at the end of yet another week with so many video games dropping and getting updates. We even had a few hit us up out of nowhere to get us all further excited for #HTRDeathwish and now #WTARageborn. Not video games I was expecting this week when it started with #ControlResonant. Again, not a bad thing, but we did not plan for so much fun and also getting our #MousePIForHire review out there in the wild. These are all great things, just none of them could have been perfectly planned behind the scenes over here. I will stop with all of that and just move right along.

A new look at 007 First Light is here, and it shows off the various ways we will be able to make it through #007FirstLight
Given how close we are to May 27th and 007 First Light launching out there, it might be a great time to freshen up on all of our spycraft knowledge out there. At least, that will be the case for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC gamers, and why IO Interactive is giving us all a look so the Switch 2 gamers are ready as well. Not that we expected all of our readers to be up on that area of knowledge, but for 007 First Light this is all about the various ways to interact in the game. As well as how we will need to be fully aware of it all before we take on all of the missions. As long as you are ready to learn all of the rules of the craft that this game is going to require. I’m sure there are a lot more when it comes to the real world. #EarnTheNumber

007 First Light has its title song ready for us to listen to just ahead of #007FirstLight launching out there
Just as all of the films we have had in the IP, 007 First Light is getting its own signature song to bring us into the world of espionage. Not overly shocking, as it would have been weird if there wasn’t the traditional song, but here we are with IO Interactive making sure we all know that it is coming. Not only coming, but we can listen to it all as of right now to help get us to May 27th when 007 First Light will be hitting the #PS5, #XboxSeriesX|S, and #PC. The Switch players will still have to stream the song a little longer, as that version is slated for Summer release. No matter the case, we have something to listen to, and get us all in the mood to play as James when we are finally able to. #EarnTheNumber

The next developer diary for 007 First Light is out there, and we have another focus on the story we are getting in #007FirstLight
It definitely feels like we have heard a lot of the story when it comes to 007 First Light, and here we go with even more. Although this time, we are heading further behind-the-scenes with IO Interactive to learn how they crafted it all, went with the characters they did, selected the villains, and why we are getting a younger James Bond in the game. Not just because it would be fun to watch him earn the number, but also give us something that feels different than what they have done for so long already. So, kick back and get ready for the new deep dive into 007 First Light before it hits the #PS5, #XboxSeriesX|S, #Switch2, and #PC on May 27th. Maybe you’ll also learn a bit more than you have already for this story.

Have your first look at 007 First Light with Nvidia’s Path Tracing turned on to see just how great #007FirstLight could look
It is time to move away from who will be in 007 First Light and take a look at how the game is going to look. Specifically, it is how the game is going to look on PC if you are able to run the latest that is out there from Nvidia. Not a terrible thing, but worth noting when it comes to what you are about to see from IO Interactive here, as the #PS5, #XboxSeriesX|S, and #Switch2 most likely will not see the same results. Not that 007 First Light looks bad in the first place. It’s just that here we get to see how the new path tracing and DLSS 4.5 will change things up a bit for the #PC crowd. Just on the visual side, and nothing massively to worry about, just in case you were wondering how it is going to all play out. #EarnTheNumber
