A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of #videogames on the site this week
Put a fork in the week; it is done, and we have so many video games to head out and play now. Not just this week, but also in the coming week as well. With titles like #TheSinkingCity2 and #STALKER 2: Cost Of Hope having their big weeks now. Then just a little bit longer of a wait for video games like Marvel’s #WolverinePS5 and #SilentHill: Townfall to land out there too. Do not get me started on all of the upcoming ones that are going to be ready for Halloween and then beyond into the end of the year. It is going to be a fun and big one for us, not that it has not been that way for a while now. We just have to wait, and it all pans out, it seems.

It is finally time to showcase all of the Aliens that we are going to need to deal with in #Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2
The humans have all had their go at having a showcase out there for #AliensFireteam2, and now it is time for some of the stars of the show to come forth. It is time for Cold Iron Studios and Daybreak Games to put the Xenomorphs on display to let us see what will be hunting us down on August 25th. As long as you’re willing to scream out there on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC. That is a bit of an ask, but so far, Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 has looked like it is ready to answer all of those calls for us. That all said, let’s have a look at the various Xenomorphs that we will need to run, hide, or shoot as we take our squad of Marines deep into the belly of the beast.

The next class of Marine for Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 is here, to have a new Specialist to help us bring down the #Aliens
The squad keeps on getting built out for #AliensFireteam2, as the next class of Marine is on display before the August 25th launch that we have for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC. The minds over at Cold Iron Studios and Daybreak Games are cutting it a little close for us all, but we’ll have them all on display before then. Even if most of them feel like they will be about the same when it comes to bringing down all of the Aliens in this universe. It will be just how they differ in doing it, and the Specialist does seem to offer up a different way to make sure all of the Xenomorphs don’t last too long out there.

Knock one more week out of the year, and one more with so many video games to get excited for. Not just excited for, but some to keep on playing with some releases that also happened this week. A lot of building up to #CallOfDuty: Modern Warfare 4 to sell us all on the campaign again, and the upcoming #1666Amsterdam. Along with a big look at #TheSinkingCity 2 in the mix, and some other things outside of the world of video games with the latest for #HalloweenHorrorNights and all of the immersive interactions we are going to have there. Another solid week, and we are just about to get into the massive release and review season out there. The excitement just keeps on building.

The next class for Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 is on display, with the Medic coming out to help us survive all of the #Aliens
With August 25th coming up so fast, I would’ve thought that we would see more of the classes for #AliensFireteamElite 2 by now, but it looks as if Cold Iron Studios was holding out on all of that up to now. We’ve only seen one so far, and now Daybreak Games has a little video showcase for the next Marine class that we are going to play. This would be the Medic, and the name does rather tell us what we are in for when it comes to how they are going to handle the aliens out there. Not that they won’t have combat abilities, but they really will be the true support for us all as the Xenomorphs flood into the area. Let’s see just what they are going to have as they lock and load out into the space. #PS5 #XboxSeriesX #PC #Switch2

A new showcase for Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 is here, and we have a lot more of the #Aliens coming for us all out in space
We’ve seen some of the Xenomorphs, and some of the Marines we’re going to be using to bring them down, but now it is time to see just how we are going to be teaming up in #AliensFireteam2. A new Co-Op showcase has been released in the vastness of space from Cold Iron Studios and Daybreak Games to make sure we know just how this is all going to flow once the game launches on August 25th for the #PS5, #XboxSeriesX|S, and #PC. Along with all of that, it looks as if Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 will be coming to the #Switch2 in the Fall of this year as well. That should give us all many more friends to team up and head out there with our squads. Even if it does look as if the firefights are going to be insanely chaotic once we get into the weeds of it all. That is what we are going to have a little bit of a look at now.

It’s time to pick up some gear and take up a role in #Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2. Not just in the game, but it looks as if there will be some extra fun for the game out at #SDCC when Cold Iron Studios and Daybreak Games offers us all a new look at the game. That’s in addition to the new class showcase that we have for the game today. We’re getting all kinds of new things for Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2, and I’m all for it. Even more so, for those out at #SDCC2026, there will be a panel on Saturday, July 25th, and a fun poster to pick up for the game if you are down to see more. That’s all upcoming, though, and now let’s dive into the new footage for the game that we have with the Marauder. #PS5 #XboxSeriesX #PC
