A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of #videogames on the site this week
This week has come to an end around here, and we had so many video games to look at. Partially due to the fact that #gamescom was in full swing, and also due to the fact that we had so many on the verge of release already. Along with the bigger teases that #GrandTheftAuto VI and Marvel’s #WolverinePS5 were going to have big showings this week before the event actually started. Although, that did leave some fun room for video games like #StageTour and #FinalFantasy7 VII Revelation to get some bigger announcements during the week. A solid and massive week for announcements, and we were not able to get to all of them as of yet. There were also so many more that we had to leave, and then others for titles that were releasing this week in general. Such a great time and bit of fun for us all to have in the realm.

One last look at the gameplay features for Marvel’s Wolverine is here, and it shows off how #Wolverine will be upgraded
The days are starting to get numbered until Marvel’s #WolverinePS5 launches on the PS5, and it looks as if Insomniac Games was looking to use #gamescom as the perfect springboard to give us what we have all been waiting for. A solid look at the gameplay flow and extra mechanics that we can expect to employ out there in the game when September 15th gets here and we are in the savage world of Wolverine. A different one than we might have expected in the narrative, but one that will offer up some fun new things for the character. All of this is being done with the various gameplay features, even if some diehard fans will complain that it removes certain aspects of the character. Sometimes sacrifices need to be made to give us a fun experience and not specifically one that flows as the comic fans are going to demand of it. Let us all have a look at what is coming in the gameplay loop of it all.

A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of #videogames on the site this week
Put a fork in the week; it is done, and we have so many video games to head out and play now. Not just this week, but also in the coming week as well. With titles like #TheSinkingCity2 and #STALKER 2: Cost Of Hope having their big weeks now. Then just a little bit longer of a wait for video games like Marvel’s #WolverinePS5 and #SilentHill: Townfall to land out there too. Do not get me started on all of the upcoming ones that are going to be ready for Halloween and then beyond into the end of the year. It is going to be a fun and big one for us, not that it has not been that way for a while now. We just have to wait, and it all pans out, it seems.

Get more looks for Wolverine if you end up going for the Digital Deluxe Edition For Marvel’s #Wolverine
The days are ticking down for us all to get into the action of Marvel’s #WolverinePS5. Even if there are still a few issues out there for the physical editions that so many were hoping to see from Insomniac Games for this one. Specifically, with a collector’s edition, but the game is still coming to us on September 15th, so we cannot be too upset. That all said, we do know that we are going to see a digital version of Marvel’s Wolverine, and the Deluxe Edition with many more things added in. That is why we are back today, so you can see all of the extras that you will be able to enjoy if you end up going with that version of the game when it comes to the full launch. Let us all have a little look at it all.

Go further into the story for Marvel’s Wolverine, with a look at the game and the SDCC panel for Marvel’s #Wolverine
Many know the story so far for the character, but it looks as if things are going to be shaken up a little bit in Marvel’s #WolverinePS5 when it comes to the story. Not just how it will link into the universe that Insomniac Games has been building for a while, but what will be different for this version of the character. That seems to be just what the panel at #SDCC covered this year, along with giving us a few more characters that Wolverine will be dealing with along the way. Some that we have seen before, and now a few more to look forward to when the game lands on the PS5 this coming September 15th. Let us have a look at the story and just what was given to fans at #SDCC2026 in the massive Hall H panel.

A new cinematic look at Marvel’s Wolverine shows off some of the story and two more of #Wolverine’s antagonists
Just ahead of the bigger showcase going down at #SDCC2026, we have a new look at Marvel’s #WolverinePS5. Well, more of a cinematic look and reveal of some new antagonists in the game, along with a bit of the story that Insomniac Games is cooking up for us. As long as we are all still onboard with snagging Marvel’s Wolverine on September 15th on the #PS5 after everything that has gone down with the publisher. It is not great, but we do not need to punish the developer for what their parent company is doing… as of yet… With that all said, let us all have a look at the new video that we have for the game to see a bit of the cinematic nature this one is going to go with. #SDCC

A trio of PlayStation titles will be on display, with two of the upcoming #PlayStation titles having a few extras to go around
Even though there are many still out there who are not happy with PlayStation at the moment, we feel the same around here. It looks as if they will be out at #SDCC this year to push some of the titles that should still have a physical release tied to them. Well, maybe not #GodOfWar Laufey depending on when that will hit the #PS5. This is a topic for another day. That will be one of the big titles on display out at #SDCC2026, though, with two more coming and having playable experiences as well. All of which will have panels for those who want to go through the hassle of getting in. Oh, those other titles would happen to be Marvel’s #WolverinePS5 and #MARVELTokon: #FightingSouls. Both have gameplay that we can experience before their upcoming releases.
