This Week In Video Games 8/24/26 — 8/28/26

A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week

This week has come to an end around here, and we had so many video games to look at. Partially due to the fact that gamescom was in full swing, and also due to the fact that we had so many on the verge of release already. Along with the bigger teases that Grand Theft Auto VI and Marvel’s Wolverine were going to have big showings this week before the event actually started. Although, that did leave some fun room for video games like Stage Tour and Final Fantasy VII Revelation to get some bigger announcements during the week. A solid and massive week for announcements, and we were not able to get to all of them as of yet. There were also so many more that we had to leave, and then others for titles that were releasing this week in general. Such a great time and bit of fun for us all to have in the realm.

Looking to next week now, we are going to have quite a few other video games that we seemed to miss out on this week to cover. So, expect all of those to get updated along the way. Not to mention, we have a few of the reviews in the pipeline to get out to you, along with some fun things we might be able to stream along the way as well. That is also ignoring some of the things we have that are not video games in the works. Those will take a bit of time to get wrapped up, but something to look forward to nonetheless. Especially, as the events are still popping off and some are up-and-coming out there. This is that time of year where everything does seem to fire off so very well, and you will want to be along for that entire journey out there.
