Batman: Arkham Knight Is Releasing In June With An Awesome CE

Batman: Arkham Knight

Warner Bros. and Rocksteady have given the new official release date for Batman: Arkham Knight as well as details on the two Collector’s Editions

Batman: Arkham Knight was originally slated to come out next month (October) but then like many titles got the push to a 2015 release window. It was sad times for all of us who wanted to “Be The Bat” on our PS4, Xbox One, or PC with Rocksteady and Warner Bros. final title for the franchise. It looks like the wait is over now though as we can now look forward to playing Batman: Arkham Knight on June 2nd 2015 as that has been the confirmed release date for the game. Still a bit off but hey, it hasn’t been canceled of just given an ambiguous date sometime next year anymore.

To go along with the release date announcement there was also word on two Collector’s Editions for Batman: Arkham Knight. Both come with the standard fare when it comes to Collector’s Editions but the pricier of the two definitely has a bit more to write home about. Here’s a breakdown of what will come in either editions for Batman: Arkham Knight.

Batman- Arkham Knight - Batmobile Edition

Batman- Arkham Knight – Batmobile Edition

Okay, I’ll admit that Batmobile Edition is pretty bad-ass but I don’t think it is $200 bad-ass. I guess I may not want to “Be The Bat” that much but I do know that I will be playing the hell out of Batman: Arkham Knight no matter the edition I secure. It kind of sucks that the release date is going to fall around the same time that E3 normally does as well but sooner is better than later here. Almost a year of “polish” should make Batman: Arkham Knight the true end all be all that we have been hoping for the franchise. I do wonder what the next step for Rocksteady is going to be after this though.
