Batman: Arkham Knight
A new update for Batman: Arkham Knight states that PC gamers may see Arkham Knight back for sale by the end of October with little other customer service involved
Looks like Batman: Arkham Knight may finally be heading back to general sales for the PC version by the end of the month here. Warner Bros. has made the announcement over on the steam page for Batman: Arkham Knight as the claim that the patches they released to current owners have gone rather well and they think that it is time to allow everyone else, or those who had a first class trip through Steam’s refund policy, be able to play Batman: Arkham Knight on the PC. That is of course if you most likely didn’t just hop over to the PS4 or Xbox One version of the game just so you didn’t miss out on things or have the identity of the Arkham Knight revealed in the long wait. Rocksteady Games did do a great job there at least.
Here is exactly what Warner Bros. had to say about the current state of Batman: Arkham Knight on the PC.
PC Update, October 1st
As many of you know, we released a major patch for Batman: Arkham Knight PC a few weeks ago. While there were significant performance improvements made to the game, the teams are continuing to work on the additional updates that were outlined in our previous post. We expect these updates to be ready at the end of October, at which time the PC version will be made available for purchase. In addition, support for all DLC that has been released for the console versions will be in place.
Thanks again for your continued patience and support. We’ll be sure to update everyone as soon as the update is live.

Now the real fun comes in here when you read the comments under this update about the state of Batman: Arkham Knight. Many gamers have been waiting since June for this game to be playable on their systems and it has been one cluster fuck after another. Yet some gamers have stood by Batman: Arkham Knight in the hopes that Rocksteady Games would get things worked out quickly or that Warner Bros. would be willing to offer up something to the fans that have kept the business running. Based on what was stated above and the lack of responses to the comments it looks like those waiting for Batman: Arkham Knight on the PC to be playable are getting just that and a “thank you” for putting up with the bullshit.
This is absolute poppycock, I used enough harsh language already, for the state of things here. All these gamers wanted was a title that was promised to them and was failed to be delivered. Some of whom dropped a pretty penny on Batman: Arkham Knight and stuck around hoping and waits, watching paid media sites post spoilers for the game, and still had to wait four months to be able to experience the game that Rocksteady Games made and was poorly ported out. I feel for all of you out there even though I didn’t experience Batman: Arkham Knight on the PC. The fact that nothing more than DLC support has been offered up outside of getting the game working is mindboggling and I think Warner Bros. can do something better than that. Especially for those who didn’t claim their $60+ dollars back in hopes.
Hopefully enough of us out there, PC gamers or not, can make enough noise to get those who missed out on Batman: Arkham Knight in a timely manner something more than just the ability to play the game. I know that they are not obligated to do dick for fans other than make the game playable but I can see this souring A LOT of gamers out there if this is all they get for a four month delay of Batman: Arkham Knight due to the fact that Warner Bros. chose the wrong company to bring the game to the PC. FYI, the PC version of Arkham Knight was handled by Iron Galaxy Studios and not Rocksteady so there should be some praise going to Rocksteady Games for trying to get shit fixed as they could.
What say you though? Were you affected by the poor PC port of Batman: Arkham Knight and have been waiting patiently for the fix? Do you think that Warner Bros. should compensate those who never canceled out their purchase in the hopes they would be experiencing the game a lot sooner than 4 months? Do you think it is too little too late? Let us know and discuss away in the comments. As things continue to evolve here for the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight we will have them right here for you so be sure to keep checking back in so you don’t miss out.
