Biomutant
The next-gen update for Biomutant is almost here with Biomutant players getting the new features in September
In an interesting twist of things, it looks as if Biomutant will officially be going next-gen on September 6th with a new update for the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Not that you could not play the game on those systems already, but this will allow you to see just how Experiment 101 and THQ Nordic wanted the game to look and feel on these systems when the game first launched. Something that might have helped with the rocky launch, but now all of us Biomutant fans will have a reason to head back out there with our Kung-Fu master rodents and try to save the world from all of the horrible things that will be coming its way once more. That will be the way I am going to look at it for now.
With this update, Biomutant will finally run at a native 4K and up to 60 fps depending on the mode we choose to go in with. There are also some faster loading times promised up as well as some of the new hardware features of the PS5 getting some little extras too. None of which seems to be focusing in on what some of the gamers out there had issue with, but maybe it will help distract from those little blemishes when it comes. It is a free update for any that already own Biomutant on the Xbox One and PS4, so that is nothing to scoff at here. Just be glad that we can finally get the game in the same way that those PC gamers had way back at launch.
