The story is finally getting retold, as the overview for this goes, with Blacktail heading our way on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on December 15th. Seems like a bit of a wait there from The Parasight to get that out there, but still well within the Winter 2022 timeline we had before now. I know I am excited to see what Blacktail will add to not only the mythology but also the gaming experience in general. It does look as if they have mixed a whole lot in there together to give us a new experience but with a little bit of the familiar. All of which, we can see in the latest gameplay breakdown to amp us all up for this coming release out there.
In Blacktail, it looks like we will be getting a nice mix of ranged combat for our Yaga to employ out there. Many different arrow types to fire off and many different forms of magic to be used as well. If that is not enough, the action-adventure title also gives Yaga a gauntlet to strike at opponents with too. More or less, Blacktail is using all of the standard affair when it comes to these styles of games. All of them look like they are the best versions of themselves and will only help the team in telling the story of the game. As another epic story to be had with the interactive medium we have all grown to love over the years. Now I can say that December will not be here fast enough.

Were you concerned that Blacktail was not going to drop before the winter of this year or did you have your hope set?
