Brainiac Is Here For Injustice 2 & Completely Dominating The Fights

We’ve seen a bit of Brainiac for Injustice 2 already but now we have a better look at him in Injustice 2 and how rough he will be

We’ve seen Brainiac teased in Injustice 2 a few times before now and then we had a chance to see his part of the overall story in the game. None of which has seemed to show off his ability to fight in the game but has left us all to wonder a bit and know that NetherRealm Studios will take care of us at the end of the day. The wait and wonder is over though as we now have a solid look at how Brainiac will fight in Injustice 2 and it is mechanical tentacles aplenty just as we could assume there would be. There may be more to Brainiac when we play the game on May 16^th, but for now this is what we have for the character outside of the crazy story we’ve seen.

As with many other characters in Injustice 2, it is easy to see some similarities between them and characters from other fighting games out there. This time it looks like Brainiac takes a few pages out of the Blanka fighting style from Street Fighter. At least when you look at the way that he uses his abilities to duck down and cause a few different styles of attack based on the opponent getting too close to him. Even with one that does a shock attack and causes the foe to be stunned for a bit. Of course there are differences but that is the feel I get when watching what we have here for Brainiac. I’m sure he plays a lot different, but that is what I see and how I feel.

With only a few weeks left until Injustice 2, we still have so many more characters to see and speculate on in the coming weeks. There is supposed to be yet another new character to be shown off this week and apparently NetherRealm Studios will be doing that out at DC Direct. I have a feeling that this means that it is going to be another extremely popular character in the comic book lines, most likely the Joker if I had to guess, but maybe we’ll have an extreme surprise. It just makes sense that they would use this platform to bring a less obscure character to Injustice 2 and one that is widely known even for those who don’t follow every little comic character out there. Just my guess though.
