Blair Witch
More gameplay for Blair Witch is here to highlight how Bullet, the dog, will be instrumental to use in Blair Witch
We just had a nice new look at Blair Witch last week with more information on Bullet the dog from the game. Last time we saw that Bloober Team is going to make things flow a bit through a system of keeping Bullet friendly. Not much else was shown beside some head scratches and barking in that gameplay. Now we have a new look at the various commands we will be able to issue to Bullet in Blair Witch and how much more useful he will besides keeping your own personal stress and fear down. We all know that will be the case when it hits the PC and Xbox One on August 30th. Maybe…
As you will see in the following for Blair Witch, it looks like we can have Bullet dig up clues and charge into the unknown for us. I am not seeing any kind of gauge to indicate how willing he will be to do all of this. I would figure that would be the easier way to keep him calm and helpful in terms of gameplay, but there is no indication of that here. It also looks like we will be issuing our commands to Bullet via a weapon wheel of sorts. Something that the team is bringing to Blair Witch as a first in their history. Have a look and get a bit more freaked out for the dog’s safety just below.
Blair Witch — Gameplay Trailer
Turn off the lights. Put on the headphones. Prepare for the curse of the Black Hills Forest!
Bloober Team and Lionsgate Games are proud to present the official gameplay from upcoming psychological horror game Blair Witch.
Is this about how you figured it would all work in Blair Witch or did you think it would be a bit different? Do you think there will be a “mana” gauge of sorts to indicate our trust levels or will it be left abstract to keep immersion up? Will we actually see Bullet die in the game based on any of this new information or would that be too dark for the franchise here? Let us all know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss. We will have more for Blair Witch in the coming weeks, so be here to see all of that. Hopefully, it will be deeper dives into the gameplay and not more speculations.
