Borneo: A Jungle Nightmare
Cannibal will now be known as Borneo: A Jungle Nightmare with Borneo: A Jungle Nightmare looking to shift from just a jungle setting
You may or may not remember the announcement of Cannibal from a while back. If you do not, it is not a huge issue, as it looks like that is no longer the name as Fantastico Studio has shifted the name over to Borneo: A Jungle Nightmare now. Not a huge deal, but it is worth noting if you have been trying to keep up on it and thought it might no longer be in the works. Just be sure to change over all of the alerts and notifications over to Borneo: A Jungle Nightmare so you can be ready for when it hits the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Switch, and PC this coming Summer.
Now that we all have that locked in, it looks like Borneo: A Jungle Nightmare might be offering up a little more for us other than it being linked to the Cannibal Holocaust film. It is still going to be, but if this new name and trailer has anything to share then it looks like it might not all be set in the jungles of Borneo. It sounds like the cannibals might have moved into the streets and cities too. It looks like it might go into the same kind of realm that films like Hostel went into with a small group paying to eat humans too. It looks like it could be an interesting twist and extension to the story we have seen thus far.
Borneo: A Jungle Nightmare — Announcement
Borneo: A Jungle Nightmare is the official title of the new video game by Fantastico Studio, available for PC and console from Summer 2021.
