A New Trailer For Ryse Son Of Rome Shows Off How Crazy And Intense The Combat System Is Going To Be

Last time I took a look at Ryse Son Of Rome I made a bunch of comparisons to GoW in the terms of looks and story. It is such an easy jump between the two. Now we are getting a new look at the combat and gameplay of the game and comparisons be damned, Ryse Son Of Rome‘s combat is now a huge selling point for me. If you are still on the fence take a look below and see what I am talking about.

If you are curious before watching the trailer it looks like the combat for Ryse Son Of Rome has taken some of the better parts of the Arkham games mixed with the brutality of GoW. There is kind of a ‘free flow’ feel to it all that as you progress allows you to open up special kills and moves to defeat your enemies. Granted this is from just watching the trailer but I can postulate from everything that the combat system is quite similar. I could be wrong.

Just as a warning, it is very graphic in some instances, but absolutely stunning. You’ve been warned.
