Final Fantasy XV
Square Enix had a live stream for Final Fantasy XV and showed off over 40 minutes of the 3 hour demo that is incoming
If you are looking forward to that new Final Fantasy XV demo coming bundled with Final Fantasy Type-0 HD then boy are you in luck. It turns out that Square Enix held a live stream recently where they showed off just under a third of the gameplay we can expect to see when the Final Fantasy XV demo is downloadable on March 20th. Well, like I said, downloadable for those who purchased the other title at least. It’s all convoluted a bit but let’s move along and have a good look at that new Final Fantasy XV footage for the PS4.
So we do get to see a few cool things added in gameplay terms for Final Fantasy XV. Like the fact that once you reach 0HP you are not really dead. Like Miracle Max says, “You are mostly dead…so that means you are slightly alive.” How that works for Final Fantasy XV is that once you are downed you have a small window where you can do nothing but try and heal or hope your AI buddies can heal you before you become completely dead. Then it is game over. DnD fans can look at it as not hitting your negative constitution yet and the Cleric can still get you back into the fight.
There are loads of other cool features that you can see below in the full 42 minute walk-through of Final Fantasy XV‘s demo but it is spoken in Japanese so people who don’t know the language may be at a little disadvantage. Over at the RPGSite.net they do have a quick rundown list of what is shown and what it equates too if you want more than looking at the pretty images and video for Final Fantasy XV so I suggest checking that out if you want more.
