Close To The Sun
The PC release date for Close To The Sun is confirmed and gamers can look to get Close To The Sun early this coming May
If you are like me then you have been waiting to find out just when you will be able to play Close To The Sun and relive some of that BioShock feel but in a vastly different setting. You also may just want to know when you will be able to see the latest from Storm In A Teacup in general and we have that date too. At least as Wired Productions wants us all to know. That is, we can now look for Close To The Sun to hit your PC this coming May on the 2nd. That would be May 2nd for those who need it spelled out a bit more.
We can all start the celebration now, but as I know some out there will be upset, Close To The Sun looks to be an exclusive on the Epic Games store on that date with it hitting the other launchers out there sometime down the road. This kind of flows over into the PS4 and Xbox One ring as those dates are still to be determined. That part is not too shocking as we knew it was going to be split early in the announcement of Close To The Sun and my guess is that time will be around when the game opens up for the rest of the world to enjoy. At least if you have a huge hatred for the launcher that seems to be the current crazy.
Close To The Sun — Out May 2nd Epic Games
Close To The Sun will launch exclusively first to the Epic Games Store on PC. Available now for pre-purchase worldwide, prospective adventurers can discover Close To The Sun at EpicGames.com, for $29.99 in North America and €29.99 in most European countries.
“The present is theirs; the future is mine.” — Nikola Tesla
It’s 1897. Deep in international waters, the Helios stands still. Dark clouds loom overhead as unforgiving waves crash against the hull. Colossal effigies of gold, decorated with magnificent finery, stretch as far as the eye can see.
Born of Nikola Tesla’s vision, the Helios serves as a haven for the greatest scientific minds. An unbound utopia for research, independent from state and isolated from the gaze of society. Free to push the boundaries of matter and time.
Journalist Rose Archer steps aboard the Helios in search of her sister Ada. She quickly discovers not all is as it seems. Grand halls stand empty. The stench of rotting flesh lingers in the air. Silence. A single word is painted across the entrance… QUARANTINE!
Are you ready to jump into the fun of Close To The Sun or will you be holding off until it hits a different platform? Are you upset that you will have to go through the Epic Games Store to get it this May or does it truly matter to you and the little bit it changes on it all? When do you think the game will hit the other platforms and will that be when we see it move over to the Steam store? Let us all know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss. When we know more for Close To The Sun, you will know more. That is at least if you stick close to the site and our social accounts.
