Control Resonant Walks Us A Bit Further Into A Paranaturally Warped Manhattan

Control Resonant

Head further behind the scenes for Control Resonant to see how different the world will be from the one of Control

There has been a whole lot of focus, as of late, on the location that we are going to be flying around in when Control Resonant lands on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. In fairness, Remedy has been fairly forthcoming about the fact that we are hitting the streets and getting to take on all of the creatures and factions in Manhattan. Not the most ideal place for us to be able to save the world, but it falls in line with what Control has given us up to now. This is why it is fun to have another look behind the scenes for the game to see just how the team is warping it into the game world, as well as show us all the various things we are going to need to fend off along the way. Let us have a look and see how this has been done, so we can get further hyped up for the game’s release this year.

In this new footage for Control Resonant, there is not much of the way in new things to see. Outside of a few static enemies that we will be facing in the game. Most of this is about how the team took on the challenge to give us the open space, while also keeping things as confined as possible for a video game setting. Along with that, there is a bit more talk about fixing one of the issues that gamers had with Control in the first place. That would be the lack of enemy diversity in the game. It was there, to an extent, but it did get rather boring with the same five or six base enemies to face down. Here, we get to see not only new enemy types in Manhattan, but also the fact that they are all fighting for their own little slice of it. Along with some fun motion capture sessions to show how these are going to be things that are based in humanity, but have been warped in some way to make them the things we need to fear. Unless they are some of the larger monsters that truly cannot be animated just through motion capture. Have a look and see how things are shaping up.

How are you feeling about the world that is branching out from Control, and will it make better sense once we have the game in our hands? Do you like that we are going to have more creatures to face off with out there, and will there be even more weirdness from all of this by the time the game launches? When do you think we will get some truly new footage from the game, and will that come along with a release date later in 2026 when it does? Give us those thoughts and feedback in the comment section below. There is going to be a lot more for Control Resonant in the coming weeks, so please follow the website and all of our social channels to see when that all happens.
