Copycat
The release date for Copycat is set with this Copycat giving us this whimsy in just a few more weeks
Just when you thought you might have seen the last video game that takes us through the story of a cat… we are back and ready to drop the release date of Copycat on you. This is yet another in the narrative games that revolve around the actions of a house cat with Spoonful Of Wonder looking to give PC gamers a chance to experience it all on September 19th. A title that has had very little build up to now, but I am still sure that a great number of you will be rushing out to give Copycat a go here when it launches or via the demo that is out there. Unless you are looking to experience it all on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, or Switch. Then you are going to have to wait a little longer for those versions of the game.
Since there is still a load of gamers out there who might not know what Copycat, it is a new narrative-driven title about a house cat who has been bamboozled into a plot where they have been replaced by a stray cat. It is then up to us to go about doing all of the cat things out there and try to regain our place in our home once more and show how the copycat does not belong. All while questioning if we deserve it or if we are better set for the outdoors instead. All while running across fences, fighting dogs, climbing trees, and the many other things we would normally see cats doing in the wild. Wild or in a loving home where they are cared for. It sounds like an interesting take on things and we can get a fuller look at it all by taking in the latest trailer for the game. If you have not already popped over to the demo to just experience it a bit more for yourself already.
Copycat — Release Date
Copycat is an emotional, narrative-driven game about the meaning of home. It follows the story of a newly adopted shelter cat, who becomes the victim of an elaborate plan, when a jealous, stray copycat steals her place in the household.
The game’s colorful visuals delight the senses while exploring dark emotional depths of the human condition. Wander alleyways, fences, and rooftops as Dawn tries to make her way back home and be reunited with Olive. But when she arrives, will Olive recognize her? How will Olive make the choice between cats? Or was Dawn the copycat all along?

Will you be looking to join in the fun of Copycat or will you be taking a break from the “playing as a cat” video games? Will the twist be that we were the imposter the whole time or will it only be alluded to in the story to give some extra tension? Will there be an option to allow for both cats to leave the owner and live outside for the rest of their days? Wander on down to the comment section to discuss all of this and everything else we have to offer up out there. When we have something more to share for Copycat, we will share it all here. Please keep on checking back in for all of those updates and the many others we have in the works around here. I am sure you will be glad you did so you can keep up with all of your favorite furballs out there.
