A massive gameplay dump for the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is here and it shows off just how all these Crash Bandicoot titles have been fully updated

More gameplay for the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy that is coming to the PS4 on June 30th has just been dropped and it is another massive bit. We’ve had a few teases given out from Activision over the last few weeks, but here it looks like Vicarious Visions has opted to sit down and dole out close to a half-hour demo of the titles in the bundle and we all get to sit back and watch. It also looks like they didn’t stick to just one title in the Crash Bandicoot franchise that will be part of this new bundled remaster, so there is a lot to take in on top of all of that. Not to mention all of the ways they are using the PS4 Pro’s power to make it all feel completely new and not just another remaster for sale.

While the gameplay videos here are full of new looks at the levels and everything updated for the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, there are a few interesting bits to takeaway on top of all of that. Like the fact that all of them will now house timed trials for the levels and not just the one title that started it all for the franchise. Now there will be plenty of reasons to keep going back in and playing all the Crash Bandicoot you could want for now. That and maybe run a side-by-side comparison to see where the art team took some liberties due to the better hardware they were rebuilding the titles on. A few are mentioned here, but it sounds like there could be a plethora more in the mix.

If none of that is your jam, for some reason, then at least we have a whole lot of footage to look at to see how the new shaders and animations for the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy have been used here. Especially since Vicarious Visions was able to work with the original character models and level meshes to rebuild it all as they saw fit. Sure they kept the original flair to it all, but as it is explained in the following video, they wanted to make sure they brought the same games back to us but make it feel completely new to us all. Some of us have been playing Crash Bandicoot for over 20-years now but still remember all the little secrets and such after all…
