Crysis 4 Is Officially In The Works Now

The next Crysis title is on the way with the official announcement of Crysis 4

It looks like some of the speculations we had here were correct, as we now have an official announcement for Crysis 4. Well, at least the fourth main installment to the game. Crytek is only calling it Crysis 4 as a working title and it could shift as the development continues out there. Nonetheless, we have it coming and it was something we assumed would be the case with the push and success of the massive remaster that just dropped not too long ago. Now we can all get excited to see how things are going to progress in terms of the gameplay and the story of it all. To keep the joke rolling too, also to see if the current hardware will be able to keep it all running.

While it is nice to know that Crysis 4 is officially coming, there are little to no details on what it will entail. We have a new flashy trailer to let us all know it is on the way, but nothing beyond that. The assumption can be made that it will hit the PC and next-gen consoles, but that is more than we have at this point. You can see the announcement for Crysis 4 just a bit lower, just do not expect there to be much to take in or know for a short little bit. Production has only just started and it could be months before we get anything solid to look at or know for it all.
