Dark Souls: Remastered Is Coming To Us Again To Bring The Pain

Dark Souls: Remastered

It has been announced that Dark Souls: Remastered is coming to us and it will be bringing the Dark Souls franchise to the Nintendo platform for the first time

We should have seen it all coming, but it looks like we are getting Dark Souls: Remastered now and it is coming to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on May 25th. Not only that, but it is also coming to the Switch on the same day as Namco and FromSoftware did not want to leave anyone left out and also break that barrier to a Nintendo platform. Yes, you will soon be able to take your Dark Souls with you and have all of the pains of the game while on the move. If that happens to be your jam for the game or you can just keep playing the game at home and experience all of the new visuals in that way. Of course, you will only get those 4K visuals on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC versions of the game but it is all a start.

In addition to all of the updated visuals for Dark Souls: Remastered, it will also house the Artorias Of The Abyss DLC in there for more fun. That and it will also mix up the multiplayer a bit by swapping out the one to four player option to a one to six player option. Those extra two options to help or hinder you can make the whole thing feel a bit different right? Or just looking over your shoulder constantly if you do not happen to be playing with just friends in Dark Souls: Remastered. It is an option and you may give it a try or ignore it all completely. It is up to you to figure out for now.

Dark Souls: Remastered — Announcement

Bandai Namco Entertainment invites players back to the treacherous land of Lordran with Dark Souls: Remastered, available on 25th May, 2018 for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Re-experience the genre-defining title that kicked off a worldwide gaming phenomena in stunning high-definition detail. Dark Souls: Remastered marks the Dark Souls series debut on a Nintendo platform, and for the first time ever can be played on the go with the unique capabilities of the Nintendo Switch console.

Developed by FromSoftware, Dark Souls: Remastered allows players to explore the twisted ancient land of Lordran in the first title of the critically acclaimed action role-playing series like never before. Experience the rich world of Dark Souls in upscaled 4K resolution with 60FPS when playing on a PlayStation 4 Pro system, Xbox One X, and PC. Also, 1080p resolution with 30FPS is available when playing the game on Nintendo Switch with its TV mode. From their first timid steps to absolute mastery, players will build their characters by strategically adapting to daunting foes, exploring haunting locations, and amassing a large collection of weapons, armor and magic spells to utilize for a truly unique playstyle.

How do you feel about Dark Souls: Remastered getting made and making its way over to Nintendo now? Do you think that allowing for two extra players in the multiplayer will help or hinder the game in the long run? Would you have rather seen another full title release instead of a remaster for the old game? Let us know what you are thinking and feeling down in the comments and then discuss. When we have more for Dark Souls: Remastered, we will place it up on the site here for you. Keep checking back in to make sure you see and experience it all.
