Deathloop Will Now Be Launching In September Instead Of May

Deathloop

A delay has hit Deathloop pushing the official launch of Deathloop to September to ensure we get the best version of it all

At this point it should not be too shocking to hear, but we have another delay to talk about and this one is for Deathloop. It is something that none of us thought or saw to happen even though we might have done so if we were in the time loop that we have in the game itself. That would be a whole different thing to experience, and I am glad that is not the case, but we now know that Deathloop will no longer be hitting us in May. This all comes from the latest announcement from Arkane Lyon that it will now hit the PS5 and PC on September 14th of this year. We can be glad that it is still in 2021 and not another pushed to 2022 for now.

It is a tale as old as time, but the reason that we have the delay for Deathloop is that the team needs to take a little more time to iron out some bugs so it lives up to all of the hype for the game we have. Thankfully, they did not use the generic “polish” that we always get as a buzzword to help smooth things over. I would love to hear exactly what they are worried will not be working perfectly for the original launch for Deathloop that was next month, but I guess that would have some of us out there keeping close eyes on that when we were playing and not just ignoring what we never knew was not supposed to be there. Maybe we will have some new gameplay as we wait too.

Deathloop — Delay

Are you at all shocked that Deathloop is in the delay process of it all here or did you think it was going to hit in May up to now? Do you think these are all minor bugs and fixes that they want to iron out before launch or could it have been something a bit more massive? Would it stand out if you knew what they were working out or would it bother you at all not knowing? Give us all of that feedback and thoughts down in the comments while discussing it all until launch. If we have more to share for Deathloop, know we will share it all here. Just be sure to keep checking back for all of that and everything else we have out there.
