Discover All That Lays Instore For The Upcoming Atomfall

Atomfall

A new deep dive into Atomfall is here and it expands the world and systems of Atomfall much further than we thought

It is time to get all geared up to head into the new quarantine zone that is coming for Atomfall. We had a nice little look at some of the gameplay features we would get to experience on March 27th, but now we get to look at how some of those function and many others we might not have thought were coming. All as Rebellion goes into a solid deep dive to talk about it all. Something we are all going to need to pay attention to with Atomfall adding in something that makes it feel like we are going to need to replay this game many times on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Let us take that plunge into the new gameplay look that we have out there.

What was being alluded to there for Atomfall is that it looks like we are going to have various paths and options to go down when it comes to missions. Some of these could end up being red herrings and close us off from actual important missions for making the wrong choice. They could also walk us down a path where we get a massive reward too. An interesting and dynamic way to go about the narrative. One that will also have us facing off with various factions in the world of Atomfall and using all of those tried-and-true combat and survival skills that we have had in many other games like it. Of course, we get to see much more of that in this deep dive along with how we will be able to upgrade and change things along the way. All in a grounded way, but it does seem that there are going to be some otherworldly things in the mix too.

Atomfall — Extended Gameplay Deep Dive

Step into the quarantine zone and uncover the secrets of Atomfall in this extended gameplay deep dive. This trailer explores the core gameplay pillars, including exploration, investigation, survival mechanics, and combat.

Atomfall will launch on March 27, 2025, and is now available to pre-order. Atomfall is coming on day one to Game Pass, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows PC, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. Atomfall will also release on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.

By otherworldly, I am not talking about the various creatures, mutants, and robots we have seen walking around in the world of Atomfall. Those have all been defined as how the alternate history played out as well as the results of the great fire that put us all in the state of quarantine out there. What is interesting, though, is that there will be an ominous red phone booth that keeps showing up in the game. One that looked as if it was going to just be a set piece in many of the other videos for Atomfall but in this deep dive, it is shown that it has a whole other purpose. Like a mysterious voice giving clues or sending us out to find other things to help or hinder us. A nice little twist, but it does seem like it will place the game’s world into something vastly different than an alternate timeline.

Does all of this further sell you on getting into the world of Atomfall or does it feel too close to other titles like it to truly stand out? Will there be any way to go back and play different choices easily in the game or will we always have to start up a new save to play out how other paths might have gone? What do you think the purpose of the red phone booth will be and could it be more of a hallucination than anything truly otherworldly? Take all of those thoughts and drop them into the comment section below while gearing up to discuss. We are going to have a whole lot more for Atomfall, so please keep on checking in for all of that and everything else that is on the way out there. This new dive has me further intrigued with things that seemed like they were so basic before, so I know I will want to share all that we can find.
