Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed Showcases Some New Gameplay Just Ahead Of Launch

Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed

Another look at Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed is here to show off the gameplay we will experience again with Epic Mickey

We are just over a month out from Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed landing out into the world and giving us the experience once again. This time on all of the consoles and PC, unlike we had it before. All as Purple Lamp gives the game that fresh coat of paint to keep it up-to-date for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC that we should be expecting on September 24th. A coat of paint that THQ Nordic also felt was the right time to show off during their latest showcase with a lot of the newer gameplay and looks at this version of Epic Mickey as well. Looks and gameplay we have to share with you all as of right now too. Let us dig right in.

Those aware of Epic Mickey in the first place would have caught a nice little joke with the “coat of paint” comment there as that is what the game is all about. Something that is definitely more fluid in this version of the game as all of the paint and paint thinner aspects are shown here. Along with all of that, we have a nice teaser to show how the platforming is back in action for the game and will lead into more of those epic boss fights we may or may not remember from before. So, not truly anything new in those terms for Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed but the game is looking like it was made in the modern era and will be using more of the gameplay mechanics for movement and exploration that we have all become accustomed to for now.

Do you see anything truly new for Epic Mickey beyond the visuals here or is that all this game needed to pull you back in? Do you think they might be hiding bigger changes for the full game instead of showing it all here or will the fresh coat of paint on the game be enough to call it new? Is it odd to not have any of the characters voiced in this version of the game or do you think that would have cost too much to do? Give us all of those broad strokes down in the comments and then discuss it all. We will have more for Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed as we get it, so please keep on checking back for all of that and everything else we can find out there for the game.
