Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
New gameplay for Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is here and it shows off a bit more of the new Uncharted environments and characters we’ll be experiencing
Get ready to explore a lot more of Uncharted: The Lost Legacy as we have yet another massive set-piece for the game as well as a massive amount of gameplay mixed right in. Almost fifteen minutes of new gameplay to show off the lush landscape that Naughty Dog is putting together for us as well as showing us just how each bit can be swapped up from high action to high stealth. You have to love games like this and Uncharted has been one that has done this extremely well. Of course, we can’t be the final judge of it all until August 22nd when it finally makes it to the PS4, but at least we can dissect some of this new gameplay to try and get a feel well before then.
Obviously, if you don’t want any spoilers for Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, then skip on down the road here. For those who don’t care, then get ready to settle in and see how we can explore and transition around the new area of the Western Ghats mountains with our two heroines. It looks like it is mostly taking down enemy camps here and reclaiming a few hidden artifacts and “gems” along the way, but it still shows how we can move from a predator in tall grass and swinging from branches for silent kills, to the in-your-face badass who shoots first and asks questions never. Just as a good Uncharted game should be in my eyes.
Uncharted: The Lost Legacy — Western Ghats

In order to find an ancient Indian artifact, Chloe Frazer and Nadine Ross must venture deep into the Western Ghats mountains, discover the lost cities of the Hoysala Empire, and face a ruthless warmonger, Asav.
It is also interesting to see that Naughty Dog has forgone the traditional on-HUD map here in Uncharted: The Lost Legacy for one that we can call upon by pressing the touch-pad of the DS4. It looks like we will of course be given real-time GPS updates in the game but as for markers and locations, we’ll have to reference all of these here when and if we get lost. Not to mention that we will be “unlocking” markers by gazing out of the towers we’ll be climbing in Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. This always adds a bit more fun and immersion into a game for me and I can’t wait to give it all a go when the game finally drops. At least if it plays as smooth as it looks like it does here.
