Dune: Spice Wars Will Make It Worth The Time Of House Corrino

Dune: Spice Wars Will Make It Worth The Time Of House Corrino

Dune: Spice Wars

The fifth Dune faction is here with House Corrino being added into the mix for Dune: Spice Wars in the latest update

The world of Dune: Spice Wars just keeps on expanding and for those that are still all-in on the Early Access of the game on their PC, it just received one more big push. A new faction for the game is finally out with this marking the fifth one that Shiro Games is putting in the mix. The very Imperial house of Corrino is now an option play as in Dune: Spice Wars. I am sure that fans of the books will know much more about this instead of those casual fans out there, so you can start to get excited accordingly. Unless you are one of those fans that just want a new way to play the game and looking for the faction options to just expand no matter the lore involved.

When it comes to what this house will be adding into Dune: Spice Wars, we will have to play the game to see the nitty-gritty aspects. For the broad strokes, it looks like they will focus on controlling and manipulating the CHOAM market out there in the world. One specific aspect of Dune: Spice Wars that can make and break the fight if done correctly. Thankfully, it does not sound like this will be the only way, but I am sure they will focus more there with the fact that the house will need to hire out others to do all of the dirty work on the ground. That is, if they have to get into the ground combat instead of just manipulating the market. Have a gander and see how this will function, just in case you are not already playing with them in the Early Access of the game.

Dune: Spice Wars — House Corrino Update

Dune: Spice Wars welcomes its fifth faction in a new major update. As the Imperial House Corrino, wield your political might and legion of elite Sardaukar to bring the Great Houses to heel.

Dune: Spice Wars, the Dune 4X real-time strategy game, welcomes the Imperial House Corrino to its new total of five playable factions, fanning the Spice War’s flames to new heights. From a strong foundation, Dune: Spice Wars has been expanding and improving fast since it launched into Early Access in April. Today’s major update marks the second out of four currently announced milestones leading up to launch, with several smaller updates bringing additional minor features, balancing, and quality of life improvements.

Shaddam IV, the Padishah Emperor, brings his mobile royal palaces to Dune, an expression of his domination over the planet. While the position brings him a steady spice tax or bribe, he must balance it with the responsibility to pay the Spacing Guild’s fees to maintain affordable interstellar travel.

As House Corrino, wield influence over the other factions by manipulating the CHOAM market and the Landsraad. If all else fails, deploy the ruthless Sardaukar to squash your opposition.

As rulers of a galaxy-wide territory, the imperial councilors have ample experience in intrigue. Princess Irulan and Wensicia Corrino, daughters of Shaddam IV lend House Corrino politically sharp and insightful minds. Captain Aramsham is a Sardaukar officer, an expert at commanding the most elite fighting force in the universe. Hasimir Fenring the assassin mentat is one of the deadliest fighters of the imperium and the closest friend of Shaddam IV.

Pit the other factions against each other, employ your political and military might with cold precision, and retake what is yours. Explore the new imperial faction now and ensure that the spice will flow.

Have you already selected your faction from the Dune universe here in the game or will you be looking at this one here? How deep will they get to go into the market manipulation here or is it just going to be numbers in the background and lore to know instead? Do you think we will see another faction added into the mix before the full release or will this be it and enough to get the game up and running? Tell us all of your thoughts on this down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all as you so wish. If we have more to share for Dune: Spice Wars, know that we will do so here. Just be sure to keep checking in for all of that and everything else we have to offer up as well.
