We have seen it before for Dying Light 2 and now we are back again to have another look at the parkour system before it hits the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC on February 4th. A system that Techland has done an amazing job perfecting over the years and it looks like it will only get better with the new game. No matter the case, we have a bit more from the Dying 2 Know line to explain some of the things a few have wondered about Dying Light 2. At least when it comes to the traversal of things and how close to reality it will be out there. I will give you a hint, it is not going to be a perfectly accurate depiction of how it will work in the real world but it is damn close.
In all reality, if you were expecting a perfect parkour sim for Dying Light 2, then you would be let down. The following video goes into some detail on how the limitations of the field of view and gravity would not make for a good game if they tried to go for complete accuracy. It is interesting to find out why some of the things gamers have called out as weird are in Dying Light 2, though. Like the weird time dilation that happens at the end of each of the moves. It is a way to allow the players to plan their next move as they would if they had the full abilities of the real world. It is kind of an interesting thing to take in so you can see how it is being made for fun as well as some level of realism. Thankfully, we do not have to wait much longer to see if it all pans out.
