Erron Black Is Now Kompletely Konfirmed For Mortal Kombat X

Mortal Kombat X

More characters have been shown off for Mortal Kombat X via there most recent Kombat Kast and now we finally have Erron Black of the comic book fame

Yet another character that was speculated and had small glimpses of before in Mortal Kombat X proper and now we have a full view of Erron Black from the comic book for the game. He feels like one of the worst kept secrets for the game from NetherRealm Studios but he still looks amazing and like a fun addition to franchise. Now we are at a high level of characters for Mortal Kombat X and I have a feeling that we still have quite a few more in the mix to come. Oh and we also have some more on Lui Kang’s variations and Shinnok’s variations.

Before we dig into all of the variations that have been shown for Erron Black, Lui Kang, and Shinnok for Mortal Kombat X there is one more cool thing coming for the game. As a nice little extra for Mortal Kombat X, those who have already signed up for WB Play or sign up before April 14th you will be getting a Day 1 skin for Raiden for the game. It shows off a bit of how Raiden will look in the future for the Mortal Kombat universe but it really does look more like Tron Raiden than anything for Mortal Kombat X. You can see the skin in following image just so you can see what I am talking about and what you can expect to get as a freebie for Mortal Kombat X.

First up we have Erron Black for Mortal Kombat X. You may know him from comics or you may not at all. A lot of his moves seem inspired from a lot of gunslingers in history and entertainment. He also has some caltrops that can cancel runs and do damage over time, some magic sand grenades, and for the first time his X-ray doesn’t knock the enemy down. Yes, he can leave the enemy standing in Mortal Kombat X after destroying almost all of their health. Here are all of the variations for Erron Black in Mortal Kombat X.

Mortal Kombat X — Erron Black

  • Dragon’s Fire — Gains more fire and flying kick combos
  • Flame Fist — Gains ability to set hands on fire and do more block damage
  • Dualist — Gains Light and Dark forms that allow to Heal or Harm

Mortal Kombat X — Liu Kang (Dragon’s Fire Variation)

Shinnok

  • Imposter — Can steal moves from your opponent and use them

I can’t get over how cool Erron Black looks in Mortal Kombat X. I am not sure how well he will actually handle during matches and if I am going to love it or not but you can’t deny he looks cool. I am not too sure on how well the Lui Kang healing himself during a match will work out in live play but I guess it is a nice little addition into the fighting game world for Mortal Kombat X. I only wish that we heard a bit more on why Lui Kang looks like he is a bad guy in the story and not the big hero as we are used to. Maybe I am hoping for too much before the game launches…

So what do you think of Erron Black, Lui Kang, and Shinnok in Mortal Kombat X? Great additions or do you think you already have your fighter(s) selected for the game? Let us know what faction and characters you will be playing when Mortal Kombat X finally lands on April 14th in the comments.
