The Dark Pictures: Little Hope
Ten more minutes of gameplay for The Dark Pictures: Little Hope is here to get us further interested in the tale that Little Hope will offer up
That did not take long, as we now have more gameplay to look at for The Dark Pictures: Little Hope just after it was given the October 30th release date for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. If Supermassive Games keeps this up, we might get to see the whole story just before it launches. I mean, obviously they will not and there should be loads of surprised still left out there for Little Hope, but it always feels like this could be the way of things when we get nice chunks of gameplay for story-based games. Unless this is a showing of how long the story is going to be and how many branches we could find. Enough to show us all of this and then leave loads up to the imagination.
Moving along. Here we have ten more minutes of footage from Little Hope that feels to be from the start of it all. Unlike the other bits we have seen, this part takes place outside of the main town we will find ourselves in with a mix of horror movies and themes wrapped into one bit. A demonically controlled/persuaded child wreaks havoc on their adoptive family that also happens to be dysfunctional. All with part of them being killed, presumably, in the mix of it all. You know, that old trope we have seen that will somehow put the cast of characters on their path to Little Hope here. Honestly, I am not even sure how this will build into the core story we have been given already, and it just leads me to be a bit more excited for Halloween to roll on up here.

Are you concerned that you will see too much of Little Hope before launch that it will ruin the whole thing or will it be obfuscated enough to keep the jumps coming? Do you see even more horror tropes mixed into all of this or did we hit the big ones to get you fully invested? Could this one be longer than Man Of Medan that we can spoil large chunks like this? Let us all know your thoughts down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all again. When we have more to share for The Dark Pictures: Little Hope, we will share it here. Keep an eye or two open for all of that and more on the site.
