Even The Water Is Out To Kill You In Green Hell

Green Hell

A new look at another survival mechanic for Green Hell is here and this one takes us into the dangers and needs for water to survive the Green Hell

It should come as no surprise that in a survival game like Green Hell we are going to need to worry about hydration and water. Creepy Jar is aiming for a realistic version of how it would all play out, as realistic as a video game can get, and it makes sense that it would be a resource we would need to manage to stay alive. More so since Green Hell is also using all of those weird and horrible things in the real world to try to end our game like parasites and infections. Again driving home the importance of the water and its mechanics in the game. All for us to get ready for that Early Access coming here at the end of the month for the PC version of the game.

All of that said, now we have a deeper look and understanding on how it will play out in Green Hell. Water will be one of the core meters we will need to monitor and keep up with on our in-game smartwatch. Our hydration levels will fluctuate as they would in the real situations there and we will need to find water sources in the game. Not only find them but also make sure that they will not kill us in any shape or form. Green Hell will have its ponds and rivers that could have horrible things mixed in, but we will also have the ability to craft things to collect rainwater, filter things out, boil away nastiness, or just collect the moisture in the air. All pretty neat things to see when you get down to it.

Green Hell — Water Mechanics

Green Hell is a sweltering struggle for survival in the Amazonian rainforest. Clinging to life, the player is set on a journey of durability as the effects of solitude wear heavy not only on the body but also the mind. How long can you survive against the dangers of the unknown?

I am also glad to see that Green Hell will not have us only relying on those forms of hydration in the game. We will have the option to go out and hunt down other things like coconuts and berries that have natural hydration elements in them if we cannot use any of the above tools to make sure we are not drinking for two. It is looking like Creepy Jar is taking in all of these factors and giving us all kinds of things to consider while trying to find our way out of the Amazon. All whilst still dealing with whatever other dangers are lurking as our own sanity vanishes. This gets me all kinds of excited for Green Hell to finally launch now.

How do you feel about these mechanics for Green Hell we will have to master to survive? Do you think that there will be too many options to go with and will eliminate the need to worry or will we truly need to keep searching for more ways to survive? Do you think that we could last the whole game with a parasite in us if we had ways to mitigate the extra needs it would put on the body? Let us and the world know what you are thinking down in the comments and then feel free to discuss. For more updates on Green Hell, be sure to stick close to the site here. We will roll them out as we are able to find them all.
