The not-so-launch party for Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart continues with a look at a few more planets Ratchet & Clank will explore

The pre-launch content for Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is still coming and it looks like the wait is not going to be long between all of these. I guess, Insomniac Games has a whole lot that they want to share with us for the game before June 11^th runs up on us and we can experience it all on the PS5. This time around, as teased in the last video, we have more of the planets and exploration we will have in this Ratchet & Clank. New worlds and new dimensions do kind of allow for all of that to come at us in a quick and unique way here, so it makes sense. There is so much that could be done when playing with these kinds of concepts while making sure there are no lasting effects on the core of the IP they do not need to play with again unless they want to.

Weirdly enough, it does look like we are not getting all that much here in this besides a few nice environmental looks at Ratchet & Clank. Not even a full flyby of the areas and the bits of traversal we do have are still limited to what the last video showed off too. It is kind of odd, but there is a lot of talk of revisiting places from the past Ratchet & Clank games as well as alternate dimensional versions of those planets too. They do look rather nice and fleshed out for us to explore, but we are going to have to wait until the launch to have that experience it would seem. This could work out for the best based on what comes in the next story bit we have coming, but it would have been nice to actually get a feel for some of this in motion besides shorter animations depicting it all.

Is it a little odd that we had a montage of weapons and movement before, but here we get small looks at a few of the places we will explore with Ratchet & Clank? Do you think this is by design so we will have that epic sense of wonder in the eyes when we explore it all the first time? How many different locations do you think we will have in the end and will it be to the level of hype we have had over the game’s build up so far?
