FBC: Firebreak Is Announced To Bring Some More Firepower Under Control

FBC: Firebreak

The Firebreak team is getting its own run at things in the universe with the announcement for FBC: Firebreak

If you thought things were under control, pun intended, then you will be surprised to see that we have the announcement for a title called FBC: Firebreak. A new title that Remedy Entertainment is working on in the mix of all of the Alan Wake 2 DLC still flowing out there while all still fitting into the massive universe they have been building. This one is in terms of Control more than anything as this one shows off the prowess of the Federal Bureau of Control’s team called Firebreak doing what they do best. Try to keep things under control with some solid firepower and restore more of the order out there on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC when it comes in 2025.

While the other titles we have had to experience in the IP run so far have been solo adventures with some gunplay, FBC: Firebreak seems to be tossing some of that aside and giving us a three-player co-op experience and in an FPS view. Quite a few deviations from the other titles but will place us in the roles of one of the most advanced response units for the FBC as The Oldest House and World seem to have more of the otherworldly things flowing in. An interesting twist but a way to keep the story flowing with FBC: Firebreak and keep us all hooked in. Have a look at the announcement and a bit more of the gameplay we can expect to have when it all is finalized and ready for us next year. It does look like a solid blast will be had out there.

FBC: Firebreak — Announcement

FBC: Firebreak is a 3-player cooperative first-person shooter set within the enigmatic Federal Bureau of Control (FBC). As the Bureau’s headquarters faces a deadly and prolonged siege by otherworldly forces, only Firebreak — its most adaptable response unit — has the skills and courage to restore order.

FBC: Firebreak is scheduled to release in 2025 for PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.

Did you think we would get a full game based around the Firebreak team or is this just another way that the studio can keep us all surprised along the way? How will this narrative build into all of the other games and stories that are still being worked on? Is it going to be too hard of a shift for you to go to a first-person and three-player game from all of the single-player and third-person titles that we have had up to now? Float on into the comment section to leave all of those thoughts and let us all keep the discussion flowing. When there is more for FBC: Firebreak, it will be added onto the site here for you to see and enjoy. Please keep on swinging back here to see and hear about all of that as it comes.
