Five Nights At Freddy’s: Help Wanted 2
The next addition to the Five Nights At Freddy’s IP is about ready to launch and we can see more for Five Nights At Freddy’s: Help Wanted 2
We are getting closer to the end of the year here and many have been looking forward to the launch of Five Nights At Freddy’s: Help Wanted 2 on the PSVR2. Many of you will still have to look forward to that release with Steel Wool Studios still only offering up a December 2023 release window for the VR title. It is what it is, but that does not mean that there is not something fun to keep you going and in the Five Nights At Freddy’s world still after the film dropped. That is a terrible way of saying that we finally have a little bit of gameplay to expect from the title when it does come next month. Just in time for all of those Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals to allow for fans to have the hardware to play it all.
Now that we have all of that out of the way, we can look at the new gameplay for Five Nights At Freddy’s: Help Wanted 2. All of this does not seem to offer up much in the way of locomotion in the game but will have us seemingly stationary in the mix so we can play all manner of minigames and activities in the mix of all of the horror. The horror is something that is a little more prominent in this outing for Five Nights At Freddy’s based on what we have here. Be it the creepy painting of the Glamrock character’s makeup to the shooting gallery of games to being chased down by Music Man itself in the mix of it all. This is just the basics, though, so there could be a whole lot more going on that this minute-and-a-half video just does not give us here. Have a look if you were waiting until the words were done before clicking Play.

If I had to guess, this one will offer up a bit more to the convoluted lore of Five Nights At Freddy’s more than most would think out there. I am not a huge lore hound in all of this, but given some of the other elements we see here and the broader audience now paying attention to Five Nights At Freddy’s, this could be the point where the writing team opts to take the story directly. That could all just be some form of hopeful thinking and not just another VR title filled with minigames that are the basic ones in all of the dev boxes. I mean, some of these are in the basic tutorial on how to make a VR game in some of the engines, and would be easy to slap the branding all over so they could focus on something else… like story. Then again, most of the diehard fans will snap this up no matter the case so it does not always behoove the developer to do much more than just a few nuggets and give us another by-the-numbers VR title in the mix.
Have you just now jumped into the horrors of Five Nights At Freddy’s and looking to see how the VR space can expand all of this? Do you think this one will actually make the story a little clearer for the new audience members out there or will it stick to what it has been doing for years? Would you have rather seen all of the games in the IP put into a VR space to give the true feeling of it all or does having these specific one-off titles make it a little more special? Head into the comment section to discuss all of this and everything else going on for the IP. We will share anything more that we get for Five Nights At Freddy’s: Help Wanted 2 here, so please keep on coming back to the site to see and hear all of that as we get closer to the launch of this one.
