Darksiders III
Another Hollow for Darksiders III is shown off for Fury and it changes a few other things for Darksiders III than just her flame color
It looks like the next Hollow that Fury will have imbued upon her is here for Darksiders III and this one is all about Force. That is what it is called as we watch as Gunfire Games mixes in its own version of the Infinity Stones into the franchise here. No, they are not really doing that, but it looks that way as we get different extra abilities to use in Darksiders III to help take down all of those deadly sins in the new world here. The world that War has brought us here. You should know the story by now with the multiple different editions of the franchise out there right now.
As you will see here, this new Hollow for Darksiders III will turn Fury purple and give her whip Scorn the appearance of a giant hammer in the process. Just as the other Hollow, this one will add on a special ability for Fury that will allow her to have some kind of magnetic attraction and repulsion in the game. More or less she will be able to draw in items and objects, as well as enemies, while active and also will be able to explode them all back out. That and it will work into the traverse of Darksiders III in the terms of having areas where she will need to magnetically cling to items in the world.
Darksiders III — Force Hollow
The Force Hollow allows Fury the collection and precise focusing of energy into concentrated attacks. With Scorn taking on the appearance of a giant hammer, Fury can shatter her enemy’s defenses and inflict severe damage. Scorn can also act as a focal point for magnetic attraction — allowing Fury to draw in energy, rubble, and even enemies, before releasing it all in a single explosive burst. With great effort, Fury can even maintain this magnetic sphere to traverse walls and ceilings.
Something that is interesting to see here is that Fury is taking on Gluttony again with this Hollow active. This to me lends to a look at a New Game+ mode as we have been told we have seen the opening minutes to Darksiders III already and I do not remember her picking it up along the way. Not that this is an issue, but it does look like it could be the case. We could have also seen things out of order and when we take on this sin we have all of the Hollow, or at least more than THQ Nordic has allowed to be shown just yet. I guess we will find out in just over a month from now.
What are your thoughts on the new Hallow for Darksiders III that we get to see here? Do you think we will only see four of them in the end or will it lead to a full six with colors and powers linking up to other things? Do you think that we will get to go back and replay boss fights in the game with all of the Hallows or have we seen things out of order already? Let us all know what you are thinking down in the comments and then feel free to discuss. For more on Darksiders III, keep coming back here. We will keep all of the updates coming at you as best and as fast as we can.
