Conan Exiles

It’s been announced that Conan Exiles will be coming to us in many different languages and Conan Exiles will allow for amazing 360 screenshots

Hopefully in the mix of all of the other huge titles coming out here you haven’t forgotten about Conan Exiles and that we will be looking forward to having access to this game early next year. It’s hard to believe that but I am still going to get amped about it as the last Conan title that Funcom put out was fun as hell and it looks like this one will be about on the same level. Granted, it is still a bit early to put stamps of approval on Conan Exiles as we are only looking at an Early Access to come here in January of 2017. None the less, we do have some great new looks at the game and a way to place you right into it all as we wait out the coming months.

Some of the big news we have here for Conan Exiles is some of the new tech that will allow us to take and share 360 degree screenshots with our friends all over the world. In fact, nVidia has taken a few from the game’s world just for us to look at just a bit lower down the screen. They can be viewed here in browser or via your Vive, Oculus Rift, or mobile VR systems if you have them and feel so inclined. It may be a little less intensive on your systems in that manner but we know not everyone out there is able to stay at the cutting edge of all of the hardware being pumped out there. We’re awesome like that over here.

Before you move along and take a look at these 360 screenshots though, we do have another fun little bit that builds into that sharing with friends around the world thing. It also looks like Funcom is aiming to have 11 different languages available for Conan Exiles when the Early Access hits. Those languages being English, German, French, Spanish, Russian, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese for now. That should help with some of the language barriers if you have them. If nothing else it does open up Conan Exiles to a broader audience than those who happen to understand the usual three or four languages games have.

In less than three months, gamers everywhere will get to follow in the bloodstained footsteps of the world’s greatest fantasy hero as Conan Exiles, Funcom’s upcoming open-world survival game, hacks and slashes its way into Early Access. The development team is currently hard at work bringing the world of Conan to life, and today Funcom released a collection of new screenshots which captures just how far the game has progressed visually the past few months.

Funcom is also thrilled to announce it has teamed up with NVIDIA to implement their cutting-edge Ansel® technology which lets players take breathtaking 360 degree screenshots of the game. These screenshots can even be viewed in VR with devices such as Vive, Oculus Rift, and mobile VR. Funcom has today released several new 360 degree screenshots of Conan Exiles available above.

Funcom today also announced that Conan Exiles will be available in 11 languages when it enters Early Access in January 2017: English, German, French, Spanish, Russian, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.

Now if those above 360 screenshots were too hard for your browser to load or you didn’t want to dig out the VR gear just to look at some pretty Conan Exiles images, we have a nice smattering of regular screenshots here for you to take in. They also include shots of the above 360 views but only in the normal 2D fashion. It’s nice to have options to see how well the game is coming along in terms of visuals. Now if only we had a chance to see more gameplay and mechanics I think Conan Exiles would be off to a fine start for next year. Not that I’m saying it isn’t currently. We just don’t have any solid proof as of yet and it would be nice to see that too.

What do you think about Conan Exiles getting the new 360 screenshot feature added into the game? Do you think that we will see more languages come as we get closer to a final build or will 11 be enough? Do you also wonder when we will get some information on the in-game mechanics and stop focusing on how nice the game will look? Let us know all of your thoughts and feelings on this down in the comments and discuss. As more on Conan Exiles is released and revealed, we will have it here. Be sure to stay locked into the site here so you don’t miss out on any of those updates as they happen.
